The RBMFix mod tweaks the original RBM mod for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, making the AI less likely to bail early in a fight. Now, enemies won't start retreating until they're really on the ropes - like down to 20% of their original strength. This means more intense battles for you, especially later in the game.

Load Order:
  • Harmony
  • Mod Configuration Menu
  • RBM
  • RBMFix

Compatibility:
RBMFix just tweaks one thing in the original RBM mod, so it should slot right in without any hassles. It's all about making those battles feel just right, without messing with anything else in RBM.

Changelog
  • v102: Added MCM Dependency to add user config options and tightened retreat conditions
    • Added Mod Configuration Menu integration to add 3 configurable options.
      • Retreat Threshold: This variable determines when enemy army will start a coordinated retreats. For example if set to 50%, if you attack a band of 50 troops, they would only start to retreat after they have suffered 25 casualties.
      • Similar Power Threshold: This variable doesn't affect much yet, but may do more in future updates. Basically if you leave at the default 10%, if Army A has 95 strength and Army B has 105 strength, the mod will see these two armies as similar strength since they fall within the +/- 10% range.
      • Report Battle Status: This simple variable essentially turns on real-time battle metrics. It is fairly loud, so should only be enabled if trying to debug issues with the mod.
    • Perfected retreat logic for 2 main cases:
      • Case 1: Player attacks AI, AI will fight until it's army is at {Retreat Threshold}.
      • Case 2: AI attacks Player, Since AI attacks the player, it will fight to the death, ignoring threshold altogether.

  • v101: Initial release with AI retreat adjustment and battle strength display feature.
