I had a chance to talk to the super modder LL Mule (Creator ofServe A Soldier. Go for it!) who was very constructive about the road ahead for Peasant.
In line with micromanagement and a persistent world based on your actions, I'll soon be putting a version online featuring a drastic impact on companions and the possibility of marriage depending on your relationship with the current village notables.
Peasant 2.0 will be the starting point for a succession of micro-updates on the villages and those, independently (I like stable and modular games, filled with 150 mods that work together!). That's all I'm saying!
Don't forget to follow the mods and share them. I love reading your comments and responding to them.
PS :A first version is due to be released very soon
I like the change you made. To must have at least a little reputation with the notables, before they give one of their village maidens away, makes the marriage more immersive. Thanks for your effort, I like this mod a lot.
Hi there, I hope you're doing well. Thank you for updating this mod, your hard work really shines through. I do have one question though - occasionally when I recruit someone, their experience is displayed as a negative number like -1287632. This seems to happen either when they level up or after I recruit them. It would be fantastic if you could address this when you have some free time. Thanks again!.
I hope that peasants can be made one day in 1.2.9 or 1.3 when it comes this latter one. The immersion and realism is really needed. I like players modders that do understand context and also not go OP sort of Cheat mode fantasy, it's a game killer, I don't play to do casual stuff and switch off the pc. I play for immersion, I want a challenge, not hyper grind but at least some context. What you did is really tasteful stuff, also other modders do these things in their mods but unfortunately not so many.. I wish more hyper realism approach was taken in modding and also developing of games.
Don't worry, the mod is still in development. I'm fixing bugs, preparing new features and training myself. It's a long process. But I'm not a fan of constantly redoing a code every time Bannerlord changes, so I'm waiting for a real major update and I'll update this one, as well as the many new features planned.
Thanks for taking time to reply. The idea that the maker and you kept to make marry someone to your group is sort of realistic as decision making could have been I guess quite centralized (depending on community culture etc) and thus you can play the guy or woman who tells who marry who to their crew members. It's interesting, also becasue the game seems to keep them unmarried by default and it's a pity. It would add some color to the game which anyway we bash a bit too much in my opinion, but in some parts leaves something to be desired for sure. yes the management of the production is crazy: I really don't udnerstand since we are thousands of us players and modders passionate abt this pearl of a game, why don't we all help Tale World to find a partner, no joke, or the money and then deliver to seriously complete the project in a 1-2 year span with a serious polished release and Expansions too.
Is there a possibly to add a trait generator or something to them? everyone I've gotten has not had any traits. Another thing I noticed is the new companions will not participate in tournaments like other followers will, is this a bug?
Your peasants multiply like the plague...and if you're loading new peasants into the lineup repeatedly, your save file starts growing quickly. Could add a function that deletes unused peasants from the save database? There's no reason that "Titym" from jackoffville should be polluting your save 10 years after rejecting him - they're like stalker ex-girlfriends. Great mod btw :)
idk if it bug but whenever i hire one they count as troop not as companion when right click they are in troops line same to this mod "Train Troops by Leadership and Level" also sees the companion as troops (will tell the auther about it) thx for a must have mod.
I'd love to share, but I don't know how. EDIT: I'm suspicious about this mod called "Party AI Controls. EDIT1: Finally get this crash so u can see my modlist https://report.butr.link/1334E0
Is there anyway to get the mod to not fully make encyclopedia pages for every peasant you don't take? if you dont have some sort of name addition mods your encyclopedia will fill up quick with the same name. especially if you flick through the peasants tab multiple times because you didnt like any of the options.
example:
i click through recruit tab 10 times. finally I pick one. it creates encyclopedia pages for every option i didn't select 2-3 encyclopedia of the same name multiple times. you can never get the characters you dont pick so why keep them in game or make a page for them?
Finally a complete explanation of the bug, I understand, indeed, I rarely go into the encyclopedia. I'll fix it when I have a little time, I'm fixing a very old popular mod, which prevents me from concentrating on my current mods.

First of all, thank you for languishing around my three redux mods:
Rulership - Petitioners - Redux
Peasants - Redux
Rebuild Looted Villages - Redux

I'll try to remove this in the next version

Is it possible to hire peasnts at REALLY first level, w/o any selected perk or attribute?
В обновленной версии крестьяне сразу 5 уровня и с плохо распределенными перками, это портит весь мод...
example:
i click through recruit tab 10 times. finally I pick one.
it creates encyclopedia pages for every option i didn't select
2-3 encyclopedia of the same name multiple times.
you can never get the characters you dont pick so why keep them in game or make a page for them?
