Thank you for the note. I am considering closing down this mod as it does not play well with the 'sergeant' AI - who place troops in different groups. During battle. I'm trying to figure out a fix but may be unable to do so. I think there may be some other consequences to AI because of this mod but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Does this mod fix the groups being reset when you load your game? if so, can you make a version that just does that part of it? That would solve a lot of problems and it could work well with the Sergeant AI, too.
Nice idea but I read it too fast thought it fixed the saving of formation and it didnt.
What I was searching for is having all unshielded infantry units being set to for instance skirmisher role such as recruits, footmen and even Sturgian Ulfhednar which your mod sets to heavy infantry, but they should rather be set to a no shield unit role like skirmishers anyhow its how I use skirmisher role between shieldwall and rangers when oppoents get to front line my skirmishers move in to this way they wont get targeted by ranged way before opponents are at shieldwall.
for me in single player mode I only need this 1. shielded infantry. 2. unshielded infantry. 3 ranged 4 cavalry 5 horse archers I think more than that would be too many units to move around unless ofc somebody made a pause mode that would let u pause game give orders then unpause to take part active.
I know there is a slow motion mod havent tried it out yet though.
if you download a trainer from https://flingtrainer.com/trainer/mount-blade-ii-bannerlord-trainer/ you can slow down time to 0.1 speed allowing you to issue commands
So this isnt about the mod itself but its a general question about troop groups. If i change the default Cavalry to Cavalry archers in the formation tabs will they still charge or use there arrows first? - haven't tried it but concerned about losing my Cavalry archers. Considering the khauzit horse archers teir 2 are considered Cavalry. thanks for the response in advance!
Edit - Apparently assigning Default Cavalry to Cavalry archers they don't draw there bows at all. they ran around with spears with me instead of equipping they're bows - is there a mod that fixes this or am i in the right place just need this mod to work with unit fixed stats
