If you find a Hideout that is out of place, please let me know.
Would need a screenshot and a suggestion which hideout would be better fitting.

Should be, if you on ROT 5.0 / BL 1.2.8 you can use the second file. If you still on ROT 4.x / BL 1.1.5 or 1.1.6 you can use the first file.

Hello, can you use this mod with an existing save game?

Golden rule of modding is to never add or remove mods mid game, those are just scenes and will probably work but it's better bo be safe.

Love these new hideouts, any chance you could remake this mod to go along with them?

Your linked mod is quite old, i think fourberie does similar stuff and it should work with ROT + new scenes.

This one you mentioned only adds 3 hideouts to vanilla, while you added much more

Sorry, I don't play Native, but trust me, it is not that hard to do, only time-intensive.

First, you need the right tools. Install Notepad++ and the xml plugin and use Pretty Print to sort the XML

Second, you should copy the settlement XML from \Modules\SandBox\ModuleData and extract all hideouts.

Third, attach numbers to settlement names, so you know which hideout you are looking at on the map.

Fourth, change the scene_name to all/some hideouts, scene_name = folder name of the new scenes.

Fifth, use my mod and change the settlement xml and rename the submodule mod ID and mod name.
