Hello denizens of the Nexus! I always wanted to RP the Roman-Sasanian Wars, so I figured I'd share a little troop tree I made originally for personal use. The mod's not quite historically accurate, as I used whatever assets were available. In this mod, I changed troop tree equipment, lord equipment, and changed the kingdom name to Aserai Sultanate. I did NOT change any troop names because tbh I'm lazy as hell lol anyways, enjoy the mod folks!
REQUIREMENTS:
Open Source Armory for 1.1.5 located here: https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/2829?tab=files
COMPATIBILITY:
Compatible with just about every mod out there except for other mods that edit the aserai troop tree, aserai lord equipment, or the aserai kingdom name. They won't causes crashes, but if other mods that edit the same things are loaded after this mod then this mod will be overwritten. If you experience crashes, I HIGHLY doubt it's because of this mod.
This mod was tested on game version 1.1.5, but should work on any version 1.1.x. As far as I am aware, there are no changes between 1.1.x and 1.2.x concerning troop and lord equipment, so this mod should work in 1.2.x.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Drag and drop the Sasanian Aserai folder from the compressed file into the Modules folder in your game directory.
Do NOT just dump the compressed file in the Modules folder. The game will not detect the mod that way.
There are no dll files to unblock, so you won't have to worry about that.
Example game directory in my computer: C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules
BUG REPORTS:
As this mod is relatively simple, there shouldn't be issues, but if you see stuff like missing equipment, naked NPCs, etc, feel free to let me know in the Post tab. I will need detailed information like what troop/NPC is missing whatever equipment.
