i did an update its really ez to do all you need to do if you want to change the name of your settlement or castle /town open settlement.xml find the name of the town/castle you want to change change the name of it then for faction put player_faction and you can even change the culture but it will not change the troops you have in that culture instead it will add troops for the culture you chose to replace that culture but you will still get the same units as you would for the culture you changed then take the file and place it below sandbox load game boom your good to go
Thanks for the report, I was wondering why it crashed when I tried to rename Ortysia to Rome. Improved garrisons incompatibility.... Well I guess I'm stuck with Ortysia then. No way I'm giving up improved garrisons just to rename a settlement. I think I can rename settlements anyway with Saddled Editor mod. (Which is an awesome mod by the way...)
since this mod doesn't work on Bannerlord 1.5.4 beta, I've made a temporary port for that version. Please let me know if you'd prefer me to take it down.
