Fog Of War And Exploration
Even though Bannerlord currently have Fog Of War feature, this is only hiding information about lords and ladies on the campaign map and not exactly related to war. Actual Fog of War, often described as follows: The fog of war is the uncertainty in situational awareness experienced by participants in military operations. The term seeks to capture the uncertainty regarding one's own capability, adversary capability, and adversary intent during an engagement, operation, or campaign.
This mod brings original Fog of War feature, which is a feature that has been abandoned by TW, which was showcased in previous blogs that was masking the actual military count and showing the actual numbers based on your skills and your army size. I'm aware of the fact that Fog of War might be confusing, given that this "feature" is added to the game as well, but since this is a mod and since this isn't interfering with the game's other systems, I think naming is fine.
Exploration side of this mod is an optional feature that removes the names of the settlements and allow player to freely discover their actual positions. This is especially good if you enjoy playing like a new person, who ever left her/his village or town and started their journey in Calradia. You might have some idea which town is where, but you won't know their exact location unless you visit these places in person.

Fog of War
System that gives you a rough estimation of enemy party size depending on your scouting level and your proximity. Better scouting skills you have, more accurately you are able to spot the party size. This system is similar to old (not released) version of the game:

Settlement Exploration System
An optional, simple system that hides the settlements until you discover them yourself. Increases the traveler/commoner feeling in the game.
Depending on popularity, I'm also planning to turn it into a small mechanic where you can buy maps to discover settlements with denars.

Config
I added "enable" feature to discovery part of it, and it's ready to be used now. If you don't want to explore the settlements yourself, just open SubModule.xml and change DontExploreWorld to true, save and start the game.

Note:
Some of my patrons wanted to play with Fog Of War after the video, and I released this version in the Patreon a while ago. As I always do, I don't put my mods behind paywall and if something is released on Patreon, it will be released publicly as well. I created this thing when I was waiting for my pizza order, so it's probably not super refined to test out with different other mods but It works Settlement Icons mod, so technically, it should work for other mods altering these parts as well.
