Hey there, thank you very much for this awesome mod and all your work! I do have one question: it seems that I am able to marry the concubines of other characters and when I do they still stay a concubine to that other character... is that working correctly? I can avoid this easily, just want to know if the mod is working correctly :D

Update - Please disregard. This mod is working fine as long as Bastard Children works. After Windwhistle released his code on github, Kz14365 provided the update to bastard children (see post on that mod's page ). With the update/fix by KZ14365 this mod also started working again.

Are you using the most up to date bastard child mod? There was an update once Windwhistle opened the mod. Use that one (load it before this mod) and note that it is not the one using hot butter. I am monitoring this topic. "Bastard Children" and "Hot Butter" work normally. If you manage to save the game after inviting the character, and then disable the mod, the game works fine. When you turn on the mod again, a crash occurs.
Yes, I can vow for the other users on their words. Using the updated DLL that the user KZ14365 recompiled for the new version of Bannerlord while using the non-HotButter version, the game does indeed crash. However, the crash only happens when you take an NPC as a concubine. While knowing little to nothing about how mods are scripted or compiled or whatever the actual terminology is correct when it comes to Bannerlord modding, I dare to assume that you can launch the game with the Concubines mod, but when in-game the moment that you make this mods code spring into action (take someone as a concubine) a couple of ticks later it crashes. As I said, my knowledge of how the actual code of the mod is made is very limited, but assuming the user Marcolino748 can actually run this mod and the game doesn't crash, I can try to deduce what might be happening, either the current compiled mod version doesn't run with the latest Bannerlord update, or there might be an actual third mod interfering with Concubines. I say this because I posted a comment when I tried running this mod with another mod and it caused it to crash as well, that mod being Tutelage. The crash log and Windwhistle pointed to Tutelage, once again I don't know why, but it might be the daily XP tick that is related to family members trying to apply it to the newly added concubines. As of right now, I'm running a mod that has a similar feature of Tutelage, Useful Companions is the one I'm referring to it also adds daily XP to companions according to the mod's page. So if you have any other mod that engages with companions or family NPC it might be the issue. Please, I beg you all to take what I just said with a grain of salt, for I am a bumbling buffoon when it comes to these sorts of things, I am just trying to help. We just have to wait until the impeccable omniscient beings that are mod authors bring light to us in these bleak, dark times and relieve us from this monotony while rapturing us from this vast landscape of idiotic content that we currently find ourselves in.

I compiled the source code found at https://github.com/ItsWind/Concubines for 1.2.8 and it seems to have fixed the daily crashing after having children. Yes, that did it my little so-called theory about it crashing due to the XP gain was not the case, although I have AI concubines turned off and no childbirths from concubines occurred in my save game as of yet, it did indeed fix the crashes. Mister redtalonn I cannot thank you enough. Enormous thanks to Windwhistle as well for providing us with such good mods. Since some of us interacted during New Year's Eve, I'd like to take the time and wish everyone a happy new year. May you prosper and accomplish all your endeavors.
Does this really work? Because I had a crash with Hot Butter. It seams that I blamed concubines unjustly. I did the fixes suggested but it kept crashing so I thoght it was concubinew and bastard children again. Thanks for the reply!
The bastard children mod rework version that was prepared is the one that does not use hotbutter. Is that the one you are using? if not, try the fix on that one.
I think the problem you are having is the same one I had. I also tried using the HotButter Addon for bastard children, which caused a crash. Using the normal bastard children with the mentioned updated files that were recompiled for the newest Bannerlord version, the game runs fine. I am using over 50 mods on my current playthrough and the game has been running for over 1200+ days, with no crashes. Using mods that are held together with "spit", meaning no offense it's only the best metaphor I can think of, we often find ourselves pushing our luck when we try to use Updated mods like HotButter which is now made for the newest 1.2.8 Bannerlord version with outdated mods that are using recompiled files to hopefully run on the newer version of the game. From what I've played with, to not get crashes you install the NORMAL bastard children, then update the files with the recompiled ones from the user KZ14365, then install the concubines mod, and then again you replace the files with the updated ones that user redtalonn provided. Yes, you can run Hotbutter. But when talking to someone using the dialogue system from bastard children, I think it goes like this "Something something come with me for a ride". It wont trigger the Hotbutter scenes, instead the procreation act will still be made but performing as the NORMAL bastard children without the Hotbutter addon (no scenes being triggered). You can still use the Hotbutter scenes like in taverns and such, and if you have a high enough relation with the concubines you can still trigger scenes just not via dialogue. Use Combat Friends another genius mod made by Windwhistle himself, which boosts relations with your allies when fighting battles assuming you have the concubines fighting with you. Keep in mind that the Combat Friends mod page says the mod is for an older Bannerlord version but it runs just fine on the current one. If you only have concubines as governors or don't bring them into battle, get Small Talk, it adds dialogue options like telling jokes or compliments to boost relations. Don't know if I was of any help, but with my limited knowledge, I'll try to anyway.

For the record, I already had BC active before updating and activating Concubines, however I already had a wife with multiple children plus a few bastards with other ladies.
Would have been cool to have Concubines together with Bastard Children. MCM of course for fine tuning, not all want cheesy no difficulty and some like to face failure in games. Great set of mods shared in the collection, again thanks
EDIT: I do not understand why Hot Butter and also this one do not consider men. Men can prostitute themselves as gigolo or toyboys. Also concubines sould have toyboys as women can have many men serving their lust. It's just how it works. There is some cultural bias in some modders, not you for sure, but some yes. Medieval times? We don't really know what was going on. What we know is fruit of the tales of "the winners" and church HAD HUGE powers in the business of writing. We don't really know what happened. And anyway leaders did whatever they wanted. The game is not realistic stuff in general... and anyway a WArband leader could have had many toyboys... it's just normal
I seem to have an issue with making a companion into a concubine. I went through the text chat, she accepted, but when I look on my clan tab it still shows her as a companion, and in the encyclopedia she is still shown as a companion, but when trying to talk to her again, the text indicates her as a concubine. Is there some way of altering the actual file to include her or is there a fix I can enact myself in some way?
More Prisoner interactions can force a marriage, and if you have a multi marriage mod you can force them to marry you, but it's kinda bugged right now.
I'm actually running both but I was wanting to turn a clan leader into concubine, maybe there's some limits and I have over 70 relations with her and we are considered friends?
