I adjusted my views with a little mental story rationalization. You honor your fallen by burying them with their gear or perhaps by returning it back to the families who lost someone.
4 years late on this but wow... the OP was asking if asking if the loot he gets is only from his kills or does it also include kills from his unit/kills. The first 3 comments did not understand the question at all xD
The nobles have a quantity of gold, I would like that money to also become part of our loot, I have seen nobles who have not inconsiderable amounts, if you could add that characteristic the mod would be even better, thanks
This is the money with which they raise armies, pay ransoms etc, would make a faction die out nearly instantly You could do that on lord execution, but then we should loose all our money each time taken prisoner as well ;) Wouldnt be so fun
As the game states about our own money when taken prisoner: It's "hidden wealth" Means you should more see it as money in a safe place, no one would carry all his money on him all the time For gameplay reasons we do have an virtual bank account, could dig the idea of lootable money, like we have to take our cash with us if we wanna use it and have to deposit it in guilds or something like that, gotta take the money from workshop etc manually too Also overhaul the lord AI to take out their money if they need it, but would be very complex to mod, ecspecially due to mechanics like paying money to make peace, truce etc It affects a lot of things basically
About the drop chance, which is by default 0.5 : does it mean that each unit killed in battle will give me about half what he's wearing?
Example : 1 bandit has 1 hat, 1 armor, 1 boot, 1 glove, 1 sword and 1 rock (so 6 items). I'll get half this equipment (3 items), for each and every bandit killed? So, if I kill 50 bandits, I'll have 50 * 3 = 150 items as loot?
Doesn't it make looting extremely profitable, when I fight a Lord with 300 heavy armored units? I know this can be modified in the config file, I'm just trying to understand how exactly this mod works, in its default state.
But not that we get all Loot even we set the slider to 100% if i understand the Option from the Mod right as only Death Troops get looted and Knockout troops not
But what mean the Warning to not disable that option?What will happen to the Troops after if i loot them even KO? I ask why i see here a Problem later in the Game as with all Medic skill you dont kill any more so much Units in the late game they tend more to go only KO. Normal at the start i kill 90% of the Enemy's and later when i have all skills 70%+ go only KO for the Skills that affect even Enemy's
The warning to not disable is only for balance purposes. If you're able to loot troops you didn't kill, you're essentially copying their equipment because they are still alive, so they will keep the equipment you "looted". I just advise people not to disable it, otherwise you will always get loot and it is a little overpowered.
I really like this mod! thanks for making it. one thing I would like to see is being able to loot your own troops that fall in battle, like why wouldn't you loot the gear and arrows and swords of your own fallen troops if it was still useable? that would be nice to see.
Honestly. Something like this should have been a base game feature. This is a must have for me. I love that various setting adjustments included for this mod.

Bruv. If you don't play the game let other people update this mod. It's not like they are gonna steal your "Status" they will 100% mention you as the original creator and they just updated it...

I reserve the right to do whatever I want with my creation, and my license dictates that others not post any of my creation without my permission. That's how the real world works. Luckily I will update the mod for all of you anyway because I feel like it, despite the ugliness you've shown. You don't see the person behind the screen, all you see is the completely F R E E content they've provided for you, and you still have the gall to complain?? Absolutely ridiculous.
The reason I don't allow others to post my creation without my permission is because, believe it or not, I profit (a small amount, but nonetheless some money) off of the downloads for this mod, and all my others. If people were allowed to repost it flippantly, I wouldn't be guaranteed what I deserve for my creation.

I really love this mod and always download it when I play this game after deleting it. I was happy to see this person updated it for you, until you refused the help. It's just unfortunate that nobody else can update your mod. It seems that you're never going to come back to this game so there's no incentive for you to update it. People are willing to do it for free and put your name on it. That's a win win for everyone on paper, lots of mod authors do it, but not you. It's your creation. Understandable.

EDIT: I found that each party on map has this 100% loot chance making game unsavable - is it posible to make it player sided only?
