Loving the mod. I hated how cav units could just dive boom formations all day. This gives them the small nerf that makes battles way more dynamic.
Any plans on making other mods that could effect shield HP? To me, some shields are just so durable that it makes the game a static grindfest. A mod to adjust shield HP would be dope to have along this one. I know mods like that have been done before but they are long outdated T_T

Cavalry in history had STACKS of lances in their war camp, after a charge cavalry unit had to retreat, equip new lances reorganize a wedge or line formation, and charge the enamy again. We do not have that here but what we have is unnatural numbers of cacalry compared to infantry. In reality generaly cav to inf ratio was 1:10, and here we have 1:2 thats why cavalry dominates and is poor to play against.
Do you know if it would be too hard to add? I mean, if you look, you add it and you have production/destruction in the game economy, that would be awesome!
There seems to be a compatibility issue between the latest version of this mod and RBM. After updating I've consistently been getting CTDs while using polearms in combat. The crash log identifies the cause as a conflict between the two mods. Removing this mod from my load order solves the problem.
Is there any way you could add a setting to edit/change how breakable polearms work based on Length? For example, being able to make it to where only certain lengths and higher break, while leaving alone the shorter ones all together?
I agree with this, If this can be done it will be more realistic as shorter spear tend to be really durable.
In my opinion only lances and pikes should be breakable. Or you can separate the damage threshold of spears to lances & pikes but that is just complicated to do I think😅

also how does the minimum length option work?
If your polearm is above the minimum length, it is breakable. Below it, it is not. Simple as that.

Without it, the other mods work just fine.
Currently using the 1.2.1 version of the mod.
In my opinion only lances and pikes should be breakable. Or you can separate the damage threshold of spears to lances & pikes but that is just complicated to do I think😅
