    There isn't an improvement if you're already running the game on Linux through Proton-GE is there?

    Do you have any idea why freeze and crash always when you alt tab or accidental click out of full screen?

    Alright, If you can, can you add a performance comparison Video? That would answer the most of the questions here.
    Also, I have to ask, how much of a performance uplift we should expect?

    I think, this takes some of the GPU's load and transfers it to the CPU...
    But won't it make the CPU become hotter because of the high wattage?

    This is still in the testing and I can't afford for new CPU right now.

      The responsibility for overclocking a GPU or CPU lies with you. In all other respects, my temperatures appear to be fine on screenshots. No issues whatsoever.

      nope, vulkan API gives less CPU overhead compared to DX11, hence it should give a slight performance boost to folks suffering from cpu bottleneck. I did noticed a slight fps boost on 400v400 benchmark because of low cpu overhead. Be mindful of the initial stuttering, it is due to vulkan caching the shaders, u should get the best performance after 3rd run.

      Okay a problem.
      When you have two monitors for example and switch them...
      So you get sure crash during...so it doesnt work...
      Edit: So in full screen and alt+tab switch to other program then back..it cause crash always. Seems a bug.

      I tested it on 3080 only... delete dxvk.conf and try once more, it might do the job

    Ryzen 2700 @3.8Ghz
    Radeon RX5500XT @stock
    16GB RAM @3200Mhz

    I ran the benchmark a few times and got about 5-10 fps less. In addition to that the game becomes noticeably stuttery. :shrugs:

      Interesting, you can try again without applying dxvk.conf(delete conf file)

      I have an R9 290 and of course it doesn't work, as I can't update the drivers...
      I managed to update Vulkan using LunarG Runtime, but it is clear that DXVK 2.1 is not compatible with R9 technology.

      What version of Vulkan do you have?

      DXVK 1.103 - Try this version, if works please do tell

      In the case of the R9 290 it doesn't work, it crashes the moment 3D appears.
      If I launch a saved game directly, I managed to see the HUD but the 3D was black and the error popped up.
      LOGs:
      https://pastebin.com/raw/akSyhW6B
      But don't worry too much, I know I have a very old GPU.

      By the way in the DXVK.conf I recommend you these parameters:
      DXVK_FRAME_RATE= 1
      dxgi.maxFrameRate = 60
      dxvk.hud = full,scale=.5
      dxvk.useRawSsbo = True
      d3d11.maxTessFactor = 16
      d3d11.samplerAnisotropy = 16
      d3d11.invariantPosition = False
      d3d11.relaxedBarriers = True
      d3d11.apitraceMode = True
      dxgi.maxFrameLatency = 2
      dxgi.syncInterval = 1
