About this mod

Simple overhaul of all mounts affected by RBM, to make them faster without overpowering the cavalry charge. All credit for the base mod goes to Marnah93 and Philozoraptor.
This contains the tweaked .xml file, nothing else. It is a work in progress and will get updated as I play around with it a bit more.

All credit for the base mod goes to Marnah93 and Philozoraptor. You must have RBM installed for this to do anything as this is just the XML file with no other assets included. I am considering doing a tweak for the vanilla mounts as well, but I'm not that motivated yet, as it would require a clean, unmodded save and I just recently got all of my mods to work together :p

These are a few simple tweaks of the RBMCombat_Horses.xml file, which controls the stats for all the pack animals and mounts in the game. I didn't like how slow they were (couldn't even couch a lance without serious effort), so I made them faster. After some prompted research, I've learned that warhorses and cavalry charges were not, in fact, very fast at all, but I don't care ;p. I like the Hollywood aspect of battles and this mod aims to make RBM battles more exciting.
UPDATE: 115%, 130%, 150%, and Wild Card (original) versions available, per request. Charge damage decreased to 80% for the 1.3x and 1.5x versions to promote balance, this may or may not get tweaked later.

The reason for the charge damage decrease is purely for balance; if you're not concerned about that, feel free to skip this paragraph. The 80% charge damage ends up being pretty close to, if not still slightly more than the normal charge damage; at 100% I felt that it was overpowered and therefore made the reduction. I do not recommend using Xorberax's Deadly Charge on the default 5.0x damage with these speed settings, otherwise infantry will get absolutely demolished on the first charge. If you're using it with MCM, you can use the menu to tweak the charge multiplier to your liking, though I highly recommend trying it on 1.0x first, and then increasing/decreasing from there. 

Percentages are approximated and there are a few exceptions such as the (Royal) Destrier, Camels, and Thoroughbred. "Destrier" means "the strongest of warhorses", and Thoroughbreds are frikken racehorses, so they got a few more points on top of the percentage increase. They are all rare enough that this shouldn't be unbalancing. Camels are still slow, but have slightly increased charge damage because they're frikken camels. All Tournament horses have 75 Maneuver and 65 Speed, as they shouldn't spawn outside of the Arena and they make good use of the space provided with those stats. 

THIS STILL WORKS AS OF 1.2.8 AND WILL CONTINUE TO WORK AS LONG AS RBM USES THE "RBMCombat_Horses.xml" FILE.

THIS WILL AFFECT NPC's MOUNTS AS WELL AS YOUR OWN, you have been warned. Cavalry battles are quite a bit more intense.  

Installation: 
1. Have Realistic Battle Mod already installed.
2. Download file, copy/paste to Modules > RBM > ModuleData 
3. Enjoy.

Uninstall: 
1. Re-download Realistic Battle Mod
2. Copy/paste original RBMCombat_horses.xml file from RBM archive to Modules > RBM > ModuleData

OR

1. Backup original RBMCombat_horses.xml before installing this.
2. Copy/paste original RBMCombat_horses.xml to Modules > RBM > ModuleData

To switch between the versions I have uploaded, just paste the file you wish to use into the directory and it will overwrite the one that's there :)
