True Army costs (Old mod) did this type of thing, but obviously is no longer updated. That mod and My little warband worked really well together because you could design these min maxed units, but then there was a drawback to having these absolute beasts of troops. Together they made having a small elite core of troops believable. But an entire army of them impossible. Since the lords also were under this limit you could allow them to be at your kingdom, but not saturate the world by merely being the only thing that survived many battles.
Just wanted to see if that was easy or hard given the wage/upgrade system you had. I actually found your mod from the posts of that one.. ha!
The first problem is, i created this mod to only affect the player, so already your idea wouldn't work without a major rewrite. also, whenever a new lord's party is created, i am pretty sure he gets some units for free, so I have no idea if this by itself doesn't break the balance of the idea you posted
Indeed, when things start affecting the economy it gets dumb pretty fast. Due to how long the game can run any thing can completely destroy it. I've been meaning to pull dotpeek out and see what I'd have to do to bring that mod back but I already have some abandoned mods of my own.
Add in that I would literally only make it work with a niche mod and I'm not sure it'd be a good idea to release it even if I could crank it out.
edit: Kudos for just listening and considering it though.
beyondfubar if you reworked true army costs you would be my hero Paying the actual price for my troops equipment was the best experience ive had with bannerlord. Makes you actually care about your troops.
No crashes which is perfect, however is there a factor in why I wouldn't get the money I bet in tournaments? the multiplier is set at 200, ill win and get the reward and it says I received the money but it doesn't actually add add anything. Is there a base multiplier I should leave it at? or is another factor at play? any advice would be appreciated..
Thank you for the mod. Increasing troop wages adds so much fun to the game. Playing it I've decided to create a mod Rich Mercenary to have more options to customize the game.
