This mod is the most useful for me because I love collecting an army of companions. And pumping without this mod is not possible for a long time. I'm really looking forward to. T_T

It's a pity that the author abandoned this mod

Does it no longer work? I haven't tested, but I never saw them mentioning changing where I put this.

I'm gonna take a look if I can also add some simple companion exp boost, can't imagine it's that hard. Or one that just reassigns them to the same level. Look out for it this weekend.

    Any possibility of a 1.0.x (1.0.3) update?

edit: saw post farther down, must have missed it when I skimmed for answers >.<

How has everyone's experience of this mod been? I thought it was what I wanted, but I'm not realizing how few skills companions learn. Unless you're training them to be scouts or logistics people... And even then, their skill levels are never going to be as high as the companions you'd normally find.

Do you guys just add exp with console commands or something? Hows it been going?

Yeah I've noticed it too. I just got a mod that also increased companion exp. I could make a version that has that included in this mod, or make a version where I just reset their stats not their level. Lmk if either would be ideal. They are all really easy to write then just post a few different versions.

I would love to see my companions to level up in a same rate as my player character.

I used to have a mod that give better xp for companion quests. So sending a companion to train troops would give them leadership, steweard, and a little combat skills. But it hasn't been updated in years.

Double check you're not dropping a folder containing the folder. It should have this "Modules/LevelOneCompanions/Submodule.xml" if it you have an extra folder that may cause the problem. Outside that you should be fine, alternatively use vortex, mine is compatible with that which will install it correctly.

And yeah not too surprised it works for 1.0.0 it's like 10 lines.

Hey, I'm still on 1.8.0 because of a large mod list I don't want to mess up. This mod actually seems to work fine, I was just wondering if you foresee any issues that might arise before I start a campaign. If you don't know I'll probably just keep it and test it.

Nice mod by the way, thanks.

None. I originally wrote this on 1.8.0. So you should be perfectly fine it's a small mod that on the companion recruit action updates all their stats. So nothing else should really have any problems with it unless they also try to do something when companions are recruited.

Thanks for the response, and yeah, works great. I love having blank slates, and I'm thankful that I don't have to manually edit companions like I did back in Warband.
