I think it would be nice if you changed the size multiplier minimum value to 0, so we could disable certain bandit factions (like sea raiders and mountain bandits) but keep others. Or reduce size of certain bandit parties. Just a thought :)
hey there so I'm encountering an issue I keep getting crashes that are happening out of no where I'm 160 days in and was going fine and now all of a sudden just boom crash after crash with this mod being the apparent cause. no setting tweaks for the last 100 days in game so nothings changed in that regard to make it obvious. I'm stumped not sure what its having issues with but I'm guessing it has to do with spawning in either looter parties or the hideouts themselves. missing this mod now cause its now messed up the homestead mods max unit cap now its stuck at vanilla hideout cap
//Sep 26 2023 Just parking my comment here for now since I play 1.1.2 and experience seemingly similar crash. I'm not sure the day but yes, early game no crash. Sometimes between the first 1-3 years that it begin to crash
Though I haven't 100% pinpoint to this mod yet as I had to go through a lot of mod and the crash is random so I had to try for a long time but it is among the most suspicious atm
Update Oct 19 2023: I currently found other culprit for the crash but haven't tried turning this back on yet. Still unknown if this mod really cause crash
I like the mod, and I want to use it more, but I recently have been having problems with in. I am playing on v1.1.2, and have been trying to use BetterAttributes and NoBanditNoCry. However, it does not seem to allow the party size modification from BetterAttributes work (It works without NoBanditNoCry perfectly fine). I can't seem to find out why it effects BetterAttributes (as I am not a modder). For example for this problem, when I do not use NoBanditNoCry, it has a party limit of 1189 from the get go with the bonus, but with it, it is only at 29. It also seems to effect ImprovedGarrisons Cheat Setting of increasing party size. Do know why? I would love playing with this mod but I have not found out why. I have changed the loading order for NoBanditNoCry but it still doesn't work.
When changing the load order, did you try with this mod above the other two mods you have mentioned? Others have mentioned doing this solved their issues.
I had NoBanditNoCry above BetterAttributes and it did not work, and when I put it above both of these mods (ImprovedGarrisons and BetterAttributes), it still did not work. When I put it below both of them, they did not work also. I can retry this again or see if the BetterAttributes code simply does not work with NoBanditNoCry. However, NoBanditNoCry works perfectly fine when enabled with/without BetterAttributes, and BetterAttributes works in all other sections except the party size modifier. This is the same for ImprovedGarrisons.
I recall there being an issue with certain bonus percentage amounts in Better Attributes, you can have a look around there.. think it was in the discussions somewhere (as my bonus' are set to 1% I wouldn't know).
hi, is this compatible with bandit troop tree overhauls such as scum and villainy, Fourberie and bandit militia? also, does it work with general overhauls like xorberacs legacy or kaoses tweaks that can change party size limits too?
