I tried it, its great but only for a while . Then when u start to raise army by upgrading cheap troops, leaders are strong and their troops kills lots of your beginer troops. BUT the game crushes after i uncheck the mod at start :( ANY HELP PLS ?
I was hoping for like a variety of leader types, but its all max level warlords. I started a new campaign and every looter group can wipe the floor with my shieldless recruits. I was expecting more in line of, deserters mixed in the group or a particularly strong former soldier veteran. Not a boss tiered beast with a f***ing glaive that 1 shots everyone in maxxed armor. Its like they're the player character and I'm the looter now lol. I'm playing on bannerlord difficulty and I can't even defeat the first looter group next to the training area. Granted I also have the bandit nations mod that increases looter party size and hoped to force me to employ tactics, but 2 warlords and archers vs recruits is unfair and theres no way to level up other than fighting looters.
yeah. Not sure if it requires a new game or not, but you can go into the party template file and change the min and max size. I was going to make another version with higher party sizes, but felt that I might be spam posting. I decided to save that for a different looter version all together.
What's the difference between this mod and your other mod, 'Professional Bandits'? I see that this also adds the troop tree from that mod, so is the only difference the warlord spawn?
Yeah. That's the only difference is because currently it only allows to spawn the first three troop trees on the list. In terms of difficulty, Looters with Leader is more difficult than Professional Bandits just because the Bandit Warlord is stronger and doesn't spawn the pointless stone thrower looter.
Thank You sir for clearing that up. For bandits, the game only allow the first 3 troops on top of the list to spawn as opposed to soldiers. I wished the game allowed more because looters don't seem to level up at all.

The other mod works though cause theres experienced looters, assassins and bushwackers in regular looter parties.
also yes i am running both mods together, i guess i shouldnt be doing that lol
