Hey everyone, I can't keep up with the patching that TaleWorlds is doing. My recommendation is to download the other Mixed Troops mod that does everything this one does but way, way better (honestly, I'm not even using my own mod anymore) or just don't use mods at all, the game is just going to crash a lot otherwise.
I did this at the start simply for curiosity, not to become a modder, I'm sorry but like I said, I don't have the time to keep up.
Whats up man, I got bored and decided to update the mod to 1.5.7.2 (haven't tried it on 1.5.8). It seems functional, and have only had it crash once with 2 hours of playtime, and I not even sure that this is what caused it. Do you want me to send you the file?
The mod author has permissions up that you can modify and reupload w/Credits to OG Author. I'd say go ahead and post it as an (UPDATED) and credit him my dood :)
this mod is amazing and in my oppinion is the best mod for getting female troops, the only bad thing is that it causes the watchmen to appear as babies on the battlefield however if you use the mod mercenaries extended then it fixes this problem so you can still keep using this mod and works up to 1.51 i havnt checked the 1.52 beta
this mod with distinguished service plus the marry anyone mod makes the game a hell of a lot better is always good to meet your future wife on the battlefield
What is this alt. 'better' mod that adds an additional female varient to all the faction troop trees? As far as I could see, this was the best mod for the job. Could this mod pls be revived now that TaleWorlds is slowing down the frequency of updates a bit or at the very least a link to this alt mod be provided or name dropped.
I always wanted a Khuzait female horse archer and lancers tree, I use another mod for the sturgians, and used your code in a personal edit (for personal use) of the main xml file to make it happen. How I did this was from the Khuzait Nomad, I made it branch like you did into 2, but renamed it "Khuzait Nomad's Daughter" on the left and "Khuzait Noble's Son" (the loser) lol, on the right. Only mounted females , no foot.

For those who really wanted the female archers from vlandia: since the mod author stated that he cant keep up with all the updates (still a huge thanks for this mod! i had a good time with it :) ), i swapped over to the "Mixed Genders mod. But there is more: the Mixed Genders mod works perfectly fine together with "The Woods of Battania", wich adds longbow troops to the battanian tree. I now use a huge army with female longbowmen.
a quality of life info: you dont have to check if the recruit is already locked on the male tree, since you can change the rate of females to 100% if you want to.
Thank you for all the great work. I'd like to do some work with the further updating of this mod. But I'm wondering what tools are you using to create this mod? I have the experience about modding units in Warband, but get confused by these files and the unit ID's in Bannerlord.
