Version 1.6.4
The Templars
The Templars 1.1 which replaces the shields of the ranged units with an extra quiver and ranged units of tier 2 and 3 have been given a better bow as they were performing badly. (I've noticed with own experience that in sieges their arrows run out way to fast so added another quiver to them.)
God has told his will... To bring his word to these savage lands. None have heard of it's grace, but will soon bow before his might...
This mod is a troop tree I made that's influenced heavily by historic texts, findings and knowledge about the warfare of the Templars. Some things might have been altered to adjust more to the game.
According to texts the Templars deemed ranged weapons to be 'uncivil' and 'unknightly' so they hired the Turcopoles as ranged units to fight in the wars. And yes templars did use lances and spears on horseback and on ground. It was rather the Templars who came from lower class that used spears.
This is a troop tree that I made with the help of the My little Warband mod?
To start with the mod: 1. Go to a town and go to the tavern. 2. In the tavern click on Import XML-flies. 3. Your troop trees should've changed now!
You can change the XML-files of the 'My Little Warband' settings file so that your nation or/and your settlements also produce your troops for other people.
