Hey there. I've come to communicate that my thesis has been completed and submitted. Sadly, I've decided to drop support for the mod and won't upload any more updates. No idea how to recreate it. I just bought 2,000 food and afk'd at a town (usually do this to test and make sure the mods don't crash) and this came up.
What is the point of the "visit X location first" part? This doesn't add anything to gameplay, it just makes you take longer to complete a quest that barely gives you any money. I had to travel for 2 days to get to a location and then the quest sent me to another, about 2 days away from where i was again, all of that for 500~ gold, while travelling i had to pay about 300~400 to my troops so what is the point?
Imo this doesn't make the quests fun, on the contrary it adds meaningless travels that makes gameplay slower and boring.
Hey there, thank you very much for your feedback. There is indeed a balancing issue regarding the time you spend doing the quest and the reward you receive, I'm sorry about that. I currently don't have the time, but I'll see that it gets changed. Regarding having to travel to a faraway settlement I'm also sorry about that, but there isn't much I can do. In prior versions, I had the settlements chosen with regards to the distance they were from the player, but the method provided by the game to correctly calculate the distance led to random crashes every once in a while, so I had to change my implementation.
Hello, I've been having trouble with the first quest I've picked, to capture a looter ('[PL] Capture capture someone from the looters') that has a description as follows - 'You've been requested to capture a man belonging to the a man belonging to the Looters'. I've captured over 7 looters many times over, before and afterwards, ransoming them over and over and it does not work. I will have to delete the mod, after all over 25 in game days wre spent with no sign of possibility to complete the quest. The premise is actually really awesome, though. Keep it up. I am playing and using the 1.6.2 version of the mod.
Hey, thank you for your feedback and bug report. There is indeed a problem with the capture looters quest in 1.6.2 (still works in 1.6.1) because the developers at Bannerlord decided to remove the event trigger that warned the event listeners when a prisoner was captured and now I have no way to detect when that actually happens. I'm still trying to come up with a solution, but until then it's going to stay bugged. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience this caused

running a quest called obtain battanian pony, it sent me run through the whole sturgian territory, twice. and then it got to a point that told me to bring 0 fish to exchange that 20 pony, simple task, right? no, i got a whole 429 pieces of fish on me, and the option remains grey. very annoying consider i spent several hours to run the quest to this state.

i downloaded the newest version and can't open the game right now, it said can't open ThePlotLords.dll. but i've unlocked all the files already. have i done something wrong?
----edit---- and yes i've done something wrong. unlock the files which is actually in the game files, not the temp. folder that you created for back up you dumbass.
