I remember in the old versions you could see the associated perks with a description. like "forced labor" or "mounted patrols", but now those perks show with only the vanilla description. Do they actually still work?

Allow for the mass purchase of lands, the best way to do it would be through a GUI which displays all your villages and then buttons to sell, purchase, and upgrade. Also a system where Ctrl buys 5 xxx and Ctrl buys all xxx

Simple decision to stop this mod being OP is limiting number of estates per player. For example, via gatekeep on clan level. or Allow conduct business on few types of products chosen by player. or availability of plots only after reaching #### number of relations with village or after completing a chain quests (ideally)

Love the idea but refuse to play because of how historically inaccurate it is without a renown requirement for entry into this very modern and "free" market interpretation of feudalism; would make more sense for the player needing to become a vassal of the culture or at least a mercenary with a high relation with the ruling clan member to sponsor your purchase/knighthood.

I love the idea of this mod and also very much like the option to have slaves work your land (as there are no slave mechanics in the game), but the mod is OP. It generates too much money.

It would be great to add more options int he settings files, different multiplier options so that every value can be tweaked.

Thanks for the great mod thoough!

    Configurable upgrades would be nice
settings to change the build time or the stats given by the upgrades would be nice too, also add an option to increase the land either flat through settings or make it scale with the village hearth while including a scaling option in the settings too

continuous upgrades would be nice too like just choosing an upgrade and it would automatically upgrade every time it finishes instead of queuing up something multiples times

    Automation would be greatly appreciated!
What if you could use the already auto-generated villagers that travel around between the villages to do things like automatically purchase slaves from and/or sell produced items to surrounding villages/towns. Pretty sure there's no mods that even touch those villagers so you could even perhaps alter their behavior?

Better yet, utilize the same villager generation code (or your own code) to generate your own parties that could do some of these things, but require a paycheck.

Honestly I think you could even get away with just "simulating" this stuff happening, after all the villagers very visibly move around from village to village, town to town.

Slave decline is way too high, even at max upgrade
Not sure how you do slave decline at the moment, but it's very harsh. With just having 2 villages with land fully bought out, I'm having to constantly chase down bandits to keep them anywhere close to full of workers.

An interesting solution would be, similar to my suggestions above, perhaps adding a mechanic where you could hire villagers to work the land for a paycheck. This could work very similarly to the slaves area of the menu, with a Hire Villagers: On button and maybe a combined Worker Capacity which included slaves.

Not that I care for how you lay out the UI, that's all you, but you could make room for the Villagers section by making the Upgrades section a little smaller and perhaps putting the Current Project section to the very right of the Upgrades Section. This would allow you to just put the Villagers section at the very bottom left, Slaves section at the bottom middle, and Stockpile section at the bottom right.

You could also just replace the Slaves section with a Workers section, but I'm not sure what you'd do with slave decline and revolt risk.

TL;DR Let villagers work the land, purchase slaves, and/or sell produced items in towns :)

In the current state of the game and mod
Goods produced by the estates are sold to the village market, unless the option to add to the stockpile is turned on.
villager parties will move those goods from villages to towns.  Then the goods in towns get consumed or moved to other town by caravan.  There is no need to add more parties

Also the land rent system is meant to represent that the land is still being worked by tenant farmers even when there arent enough slaves to work the land.  They are not as efficient as slaves since they work at their own pace rather than being force to work inhuman slave conditions and only pay a portion of their earnings as rent.

Ok how about this: Does the amount of income the "tenant farmers" give you actually relate to the land value (as in, land with silver is obviously very valuable)? If not, I feel as if that could use a scale up. You could probably accomplish that by just checking the average price of the produced good in nearby villages and towns. You could also balance this by making purchasing the land even more expensive yourself, which could make for a very cool "dynamic land value" feature.

Also, do these "tenant farmers" actually produce anything to the village market? If not, I think it'd be nice if they did, and if you could maybe take a percentage of what they sell (if that's even ethical at all lol).

      its based on several factors
how much land you own and are renting out
and the amount and types of goods the village is producing

It is best to put your estates in high hearth villages that produce valuable trade goods if you want to make the most profits through land rent

Village with only 10 developed plots of land dont produce any more goods than normal.  As all that happened is the tenants are paying their rent to you now instead of some random notable in village.  If you pay to develop more land, the amount of goods produced by the village will increase over time

Alright that's all nice, I feel like you could explain some of these things in the description so people like me don't have to ask you about it all the time, but hey you do you.

I still think it'd be nice if you could hire villagers to work on the land and produce items to the stockpile or auto-sell. Because what if I don't want to just rent out the land? What if I want to create a lumber business or something lol.

And if you did add a feature like that, it would open the door to making a feature like, integration with your Workshop Rework mod, where you could have villagers working on your land or at the workshops automatically come and take from the village stockpile for cheaper goods. Effectively creating a vertically integrated business.

Of course you can still do a feature like that with the slave system, but again, it's too grindy to even be worth it and I don't think it makes much sense.

Income needs to drop a little.
