Hey, Your mod is awesome! It was really fun to play. I took the time to translate the mod into German. Oddly enough, it's still displayed in English in the game. Do you have any idea what the problem could be? It would be great if you could take a look at my translation. Maybe you could even integrate it directly into the mod? Thanks and keep up the good work!
One thing I've noticed though. It seems the "Get spears for militia" quest removes the 20 highest value/power one-handed polearms even if they are locked. Any way to only use unlocked one-handed polearms or use the same method for "gang leader needs recruits" where you can choose what to turn over to the quest giver?
Only reason I'm asking is that after the first time I went to complete the quest i went to town bought 20 militia spears to turn in. Unfortunately I didn't realize the game picks the most expensive/powerful items first. I lost 3 masterwork menavlions, 2 Masterwork Glaves, 4 Balanced Pilums and a Long Glaive. That kinda hurt since it took 9 years in game to find those.
Mod has issues for me in 1.0.3. Spear quest is missing dialog for when you turn it in, also it doesn't display an inventory transfer screen or anything, it just wipes your inventory of spears (took like 24 out of my inventory, including one I had locked), also I haven't seen any quest but that one. Other than the "gang recruits" and a single instance of "kidnapped daughter" I've seen barely any vanilla quests pop. Thats probably just because it's early in the game and every village has a crap militia, so basically every small town gets it's missions filled with militia requests, but the only quest I really want out of this, the bandit raid one, hasn't showed up one like 30 days in.
1.0.1 is working well for me, this is a great mod. Though, I'd love to see more quests in the future. An idea might be similar to M&B Warband's where, if you're a Mercenary, maybe when a lord creates an army, there's a small chance (1-10%) that you get an automatic quest to join that lords army.
It really doesn't make much sense when a Mercenary is constantly running around and literally doesn't even need to participate in the battles of the kingdom. For completing this task, you'd get a small bit of renown as well as relation and some influence. In addition, once you've joined the lord's army, they may give you further tasks to help the war effort such as scouting, delivering supplies to the army, or raiding an enemy village?
