Welcome to Succession! If you encounter a bug, please report it in the appropriate section - I don't get notified if you post a comment, but I do see if you put it in the "bugs" section.
If you want your mod's kingdom or culture to be defined by default, feel free to comment with their StringID and preferred succession type. Additionally, feel free to suggest new succession methods. If they're do-able, I'll try to include them! ~~~~~~~~~~ UPDATES: RECOMPILED WITH 1.7.0 BINARIES - tested with console commands and didn't come crashing down around me, so I'm presuming it's working. Revolutions/rebellions based on election results don't seem to function at the moment - I'll be looking into it.
2.0.0 has implemented culture-tag backups, as well as term limits!
3.0.0 has a ton of new functionality! + Rebellions can take place immediately with succession, depending on how the vassal lords feel about their new ruler (explained in detail in succession_defines.xml and the mod info page) + new console command to trigger succession: succession.trigger_election [kingdom stringID] + Inheritance now works as we all thought it would when the game launched.
3.1.0 expanded on rebellions! + The player, if they're a vassal, is prompted to pick a side in a succession rebellion. They gain rep with clans on their side. ~~~~~~~~~~
Only thing left holding me back from starting my full release playthrough is hoping this mod will be updated for it, but it's been close to a year now.
You litterally had one guy do the work to make this work with the current game version, for all to enjoy and your best guess was to strike him and take the up to date version down and not to replace it with anything?
