i'm not sure if I'm missing something, so not going to post in bugs section if it's my mistake. I installed the mod, and the RBM mod, and both crash fixes. I also moved the combat param file below. I keep getting a "Source: System.Xml.Linq The parent is missing." crash when starting sandbox with the RBM module enabled. did I miss a step somewhere?
nm I think I'm dumb. I was thinking the RMB download was a patch mod for the original, instead of a standalone. My bad for dropping the IQ of this thread by 5 points
Hey bro cool mod man absolutely love the textures of the horses just wanted to ask, are you gonna update it? What I mean by that is making new horse breeds? Arabic horses etc etc
The mod runs with the latest version of the game (1.2.8)... and since it is a simple mod/tweak, it usually remains operational after the base game has been updated (unless TW touches something critical XD).
At the moment I'm not planning to extend/upgrade the mod further as the free time I have to dedicate to Bannerlord modding I'm mainly using it for a more complex project.
Hi, sorry I am kinda confused, I downloaded Ultimate Mounts Reforged for RBM and Ultimate Mounts Reforged for RBM crash fix 1.2.0. I installed man file first, fix later. There is also a how to install file inside Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\UltimateMountsReforgedRBM\ModuleData\GripMyAxeRBM+UltimateMountsRBM_FIX What do I need to do exactly if I want the added tweaks? I get combat_parameters_mod.xml file and replace it with the sane file in Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\UltimateMountsReforgedRBM? Also the rider positin fix? What does that do exactly? Do I need it? Is this too many questions?
1. Having unzipped the package "Ultimate Mounts Reforged for RBM" and placed it in your modules folder.
2. Unzip "Ultimate Mounts Reforged for RBM crash fix 1.2.0" and overwrite its content in the modules folder.
3 Take xml in "GripMyAxeRBM+UltimateMountsRBM_FIX" folder an copy paste in UltimateMountsReforgedRBM\ModuleData
With that UMR works 100% in combination with RBM.
Then for the new rider position feature you have to take the skeleton_scales file from UltimateMountsReforgedRBM\ModuleData\Rider position fix and paste (overwrite) it into the Modules\Native\ModuleData. This is optional, but you will definitely notice a significant difference if you play with this modified file.
Hi, a couple of questions: - I ran Ultimate Mounts for RBM and it worked fine without the crash fix. Is the crash fix necessary? I don't understand the purpose of the file (why not update the main file with it?) - Do all added combat tweaks have to be installed manually (replace files as per instructions)? So, if I install the mod via Vortex, all I will get are the visual tweaks? I'd like to have the visual tweaks only for now and test the combat ones later.
- No idea why not updated, it just isn't I guess. -Yes you need to replace manually, vortex installation doesnt work. Hybrid blocking, nostalgia camera tweak are avaliable separetely. you can install them at your convenience. tweaks to combat.xml file need to be done manually.
I found some parameters except the horse skin and colors, e.g., name, speed, maneuver, and so on are changed too, compared to the vanilla and RBM. Are they what you intend to do?
Any chance you can add the colour combinations for the 'Nahasa Camel'? I use it as the camel for my noble units and the same colour variation would be great!

Both run smoothly on the latest version of the native game (1.2.8).

Best regards and thanks for giving UMR a try.

Probably you have some conflict with another mod. Here is a demo of it running on the latest version available.
<combat_parameter id="human_r_kick_params"
collision_check_starting_percent="0.55"
collision_check_ending_percent="1.0"
collision_radius="kick_shieldbash_radius"
alternative_attack_cooldown_period="kick_cooldown"
hit_bone_index="7" />
<combat_parameter id="human_l_kick_params"
collision_check_starting_percent="0.55"
collision_check_ending_percent="1.0"
collision_radius="kick_shieldbash_radius"
alternative_attack_cooldown_period="kick_cooldown"
hit_bone_index="3" />
Now I can fully enjoy your mod :))
