I got sick of the awful bow models, so this mod corrects many wrong and defective construction of the bow models in the game.
Many of the bows are strung backwards, and most have no string nocks and are strung in an impossible way.
The mod replaces the vanilla bows with more physically plausible models.

I got sick of the awful bow models, so this mod corrects many wrong and defective construction of the bow models in the game.
Many of the bows are strung backwards, and most have no string nocks and are strung in an impossible way.
The mod replaces the vanilla bows with more physically plausible models.
I tried to keep the bow design as close to the original as possible, the siyahs needed some changes for proper nocks.
All bow stats are unchanged from the original.
Bows changed:
- Hunting bow/mountain hunting bow: Was strung backwards, and no nock point.
- Nomad bow: No nock, string strung too low on the siyah
- Noble bow: Strung incorrectly for the bow type. Now added string bridge and nock, a plausible Qing bow now.
- Ranger bow: The horn nocks were backwards, now corrected.
Install
Extract and put ./SpBetterBows into /Modules folder, example path:
"~/Mount & Blade II Bannerlord/Modules/SpBetterBows"
