Mod works perfectly (the mechanic) on 1.2.9 BUT the secondary color is always showing as yellow...
But yeah, the mechanic itself (using the different patterns, only applying them to low tier units, etc) is working fine. It's just the colors that got bonked. Would love an update, this is one of those mods that should be a base game feature. So simple and so brilliant.
Not sure what im doing wrong but this mod wont work in my game....using Steam official release none beta version and without any mods. Tested in game and in custom battle mode but units do not show shields patterns...only the faction logo one.
I'm trying to add a new rule to this to affect the bandit troops, and I can't get it to work.
The game's base code list the sea raiders' culture ID as sea_raiders yet when I set that in the mod's code, it doesn't translate to affecting their shields.
Hello, just so you know, since version 1.1.0, the secondary color seems to be broken and is always a weird yellow color. Hope you'll see this message, this mod is one of the ones i use in every single playthrough i do.
Seems the bug is related to modded colors (and new colors added since a few updates, like the plain white). I don't know how the mod detects color, but it seems something has changed in how TW does things :S
Amazing, could you please add an option where we can keep the clan symbol as a variation? Maybe a "null code" that could be read and replaced by the default pattern, the clan heraldry. Pattern Id 0 for exemple.
That would make the mod perfect! Definitely a "must have mod"!
Hello, Thank you for your message ! Sorry I did not answer the first one, your improvement was on the top of my TODO list for the mod but I didn't have time to put on it. You will find it in the last version (1.0.1) as you described (Pattern Id 0). Have fun !
(note: below is an example, default file does not have this modification)
Hello, really nice mod, i think to download it and try it but i dont understand the "level". units can only be level up to lvl 6 in the noble line? What does it mean to set it to "16" for default or "99" in your example for all troops? Thanks for the answers. :)

Troop Tier / Level equivalences:
- Tier 0: Level 0
- Tier 1: Level 6
- Tier 2: Level 11
- Tier 3: Level 16
- Tier 4: Level 21
- Tier 5: Level 26
- Tier 6: Level 31
It means, u can choose which lvl the unit will take the mod on his shield. With 16 only to lvl 3 Units and 4,5,6 is vanilla?
