Updated for Release 1.0.2 - also built for 1.0.1 and 1.0.0 but not tested by me.
Requires Bannerlord.Harmony Requires MCM 5.4.5 And all the MCM requirements as well.
Added the ability to expand the range of the the prize pool value. The more heroes in a tournament the higher the prize value goes. The vanilla game by default will switch from 'normal' items to 'elite' items after 4 or more hero's are involved in a tournament. These elite items are just the original named tournament prizes. Some are good, some are not. You can bypass these elite items to instead try for higher valued normal items - the better armors and weapons for example that show up in shops are just high valued normal items, not elite.
Hopefully the options make sense to configure this - personally I play with the elite requirements set to 8, with a 2000 value increase per hero and a 50% chance to bypass the elite items. However by default the mod runs with the stock game settings if you don't wish to change anything.
Safe to add/remove mid-game - does not alter the save file in any way.
All features can be enabled/disabled by the player in the MCM menu. If a feature is disabled the associated harmony patch does not run, leaving the game completely untouched.
Compatibility Issues - Arena Overhaul - Turn off XP Gain, Bet Odds, Max/Min bet Amounts in TXP, use AO version for those. Load After AO. RBM - Turn off RBM Arena Module BannerKings - Load after BannerKings but works fine.
I added Arena Overhaul Detection. If Arena Overhaul is detected it turns off/disables the features of TXP that conflict with Arena Overhaul. Currently they still show up in the options but you can't change them. The crash when starting a Teams match is fixed.
If you settings aren't saving/sticking go to Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs\ModSettings\Global\TournamentsXPanded3 Delete all the files there.
Alternate Odds System The vanillia game odds are based on your level + 30, plus leaderboard ranking compared to the other opponents. The alternate system is based on your combat skills + hp + handicap + ranking vs opponents combat skills and hp and rankings. To encourage a handicap, you can increase the base value of the prize item based on handicap. Larger the handicap, more valuable the prize, but lowers your betting odds.
A small bug/feature? : When tournaments are showing they are offering a "tier 6 banner" as a prize, that is never in the list of choices when you join the tournament. I've never rerolled and gotten a banner either. Maybe the prize list didn't include them properly?
Has anyone had any luck getting this to work with Shokuho? I figured since it used what appears to be the vanilla tournament system that XPanded would be compatible. Not sure if there's a deeper incompatibility or not that someone else has found or worked out.
The prize selection works. The max bet does not. They don’t use the vanilla tournament model, even though it’s very close. I’m contemplating how to patch it and keep it universally compatible. I might just make a shokuro specific version.
new update is quite useful, but there are many missing IDs in language files. i have translated mod into Turkish, but I don't want to release it in this state...
Would it be possible to add options to make it so that Wanderers in a town's tavern, a player's party, or other parties in a city are much more likely to compete? I'm tired of fighting nobodies, I want to fight actual named NPCs! Also, it would be nice to actually train up your companions by inviting them to compete.
I've been using this mod for so many years now, thank you! I have a suggestion/feature request... is there any way to adjust tournament betting by level? So, for example, at level 1 you could bet 150, but say at level 10 you could bet 500? Basically I guess I am asking for you to add a slider that adjusts betting amount per character level from 0 - 100 (or higher, but that would be crazy) with a default of like 5g per level.
MaxBet = ((1~100)*level)+150
so for my example 35g per level, at lvl 10 you could bet 500gp (150+(35x10)=500).
Or, increase betting based on your roguery skill or cunning?
I'm not really adding new features anymore, but I'll think about it. I'm playing the game again right now, so I just went through all my mods and rebuilt them for the latest version of the game. I'll keep this in mind if I decide to add anything to it.
