This mod allows to keep the objects obtained during a battle by the main character and also will add a chance to lose equipment u drop in battle or if the player is wounded the items equiped will get a chance to be lost making possible to obtain equipment and lose it while fighting.

This mod allows to keep the objects obtained during a battle by the main character and also will add a chance to lose equipment u drop in battle and if the player is wounded the items equiped will get a chance to be lost making possible to obtain equipment and lose it while fighting.
Also adds a new custom town event that will allow the player to meet with a smith and acces various functionalitys related to it.


The Looting Functionality:
  • The gear that was picked up will be recovered as the player equipment after the battle ends allowing to loot those items if the player survives the battle.
  • If the player started the battle with gear that was dropped in the battle those items are identified as "lost" gear and will get a chance to be recovered if the player survives the battle (and will be equiped in the same slot if that slot was empty at the end of the battle).
  • If the player was wounded in the battle the picked up equipment will be lost as ur companions shuldn`t know the gear u lotted when they save u.
  • Also if the player was wounded the gear that u started with could be lost in battle.
  • Horses and theyr saddles can be looted if enabled on the mod settings the new lotted items will be added directly to the party inventory if the player started the battle with a horse to prevent conflicts with the horse death/lame system of bannerlord.
This functionality works in the following events:
  • Campaign Battles (Either army or party).
  • Hideout assaults.
  • Sieges.
  • Entering settlement (towns or villages soo don't drop your items).
This wont work in:
  • Arena fights
  • Tournaments
Compatibility:
  • Mods that add new gear and item modifiers to the game will work well if they are developed properly
  • Posible incompatibility with mods that tweak with the class MissionBehaviour but i tested the few i could find and they work fine together without anny problem, further testing will be made but as of now not many mods work with that.
  • Tested on version 1.5.6 but should work fine with previous or future versions.

The Smith Functionality:
  • Added a new Town event that will allow u to talk to a new custom character "The Smith" this character will allow u to repair gear that u looted in battles (items that have a custom modifier) to its default versions.
  • This functionality is triggered in the form of a barter event in which the smith´s party will have the list of gear that can be repaired, those items are obtained from the player party inventory and will be replaced after the barter is accepted but as of now the bartered items need the full cost of what would be a new item and because of that at the time of removing the damaged items from the party inventory the player will recover the gold those items cost (sry for the inconvenience i´ll try to tweak the barter functionality to remove this).
  • Also, at the time the player recovers the costs of the damaged items, a discount will be applied which can be configured in the mod settings, but changing these settings will require a reboot in the MCM version.
 Compatibility:
  • Possible incompatibility with mods that add custom town events as i dont know if those could override my town event
  • The new functionalities were developed in the version 1.5.7 and i couldn't test them in previous versions

To do (future changes):
  • Make the recovery/lost of items configurable either by xml or by mcm.(MCM functionality added on version 1.0.3).
  • Add a custom item modifier to lower the value of picked items as it may be to op early on. 
  • Possibility to add horses and saddles to the gear that can be looted (added on version 1.0.2).
  • Add unique items obtained by quest "Heirloom gear" that will be tracked when lost to allow its recovery by various quests.
  • Add a custom event that checks if the picked up item skill requirement is met and drop the items that aren't met.
  • Add a Health Points system to weapons and change the modifier of affected items from normal to (for example) bent (or tatered for cloth).
  • Add a custom option inside towns to pay to restore items to its default conditions.(added on version 1.1.0)
  • Add a new functionality to improve gear (Tempered for weapons or fitting for armor).
  • Add new custom characters that will work as smiths for the diferent cultures/settlements with custom dialogues
  • Add a way to check if the player meet with the smith to change its dialogue as getting asked "who might u be" every time is a bit off
