Hello everyone i came back to Bannerlord modding i just released a new version for bannerlord 1.1.5 that is currently "working" but i didnt had the time to test all the functionalitys and if its bugg free atm but i will keep testing it in the following days so there may be a quickfix on the near future if i come across some mayor problems,
In the side notes, I've decided to "split" the modules into their own pages to allow for better representation of both and improve mod visibility, so the current page will likely be gone in the near future and for those interested, I will release the mod in steam workshop if i figure out how to do it.
If anyone is interested, the BattleGear module works on game version 1.2.9 for me, the Artisans module crashes when talking to artisans. Hope this mod will be updated. let me know if there are mods with similar features.
I'm confused, so you have a chance of losing your items once you ENTER a battle? Meaning you will start the battle with no items equipped? Or will you still be able to fight using your weapon but then lose it after the battle ends?
you start the battle with the gear that u had equiped but while you are in battle any gear or horse that you pick up gets a chance to be added to your inventory or equiped to the same slot it had in battle (setting in MCM), if you by any chance drop one item (for example an empty quiver) you get a chance to lose said item when the battle is over (take it as your character being unable to find it after the battle is over) and lastly if you get knocked out in battle every weapon that you had equiped gets a chance to be looted (lose them) and one piece of armor gets a chance to receive a debuff (gains an adverse modifier). Hope i was able to clear your confusion
u mean your companions? i could do it but for the other npcs it creates a problem as they may end up without weapons as they don't have the ability to upgrade the gear in the base game and giving the armors they wear "debuffs" is a pretty minnor effect for the performance hit it may create in every npc battle
Thank you for replying to me. I originally wanted to say that there is a mod that can solve the problem of NPC buying equipment “Neated’s NPC Upgrade Equipment Fix”, but I’m sorry I realized after careful thinking that I was thinking too simple. This mod seems to only affect things that happen on the battle map with the player involved. That is to say, an AI lord on the campaign map will not lose or damage his equipment in any automatic battle, but once he enters the battle map with the player, these things may happen. So even if you add these features, you still can’t achieve equality. Anyway, I really like this mod, I just did a Chinese translation for them, if you agree, I want to repost it to the Chinese forum of this game.
Sure I don't have a problem with the translations, after all, I made the mod for people to enjoy. If you run into any problems while doing this, I'd be happy to help or fix my spaghetti code if needed.
please update. this mod is a MUST with Serve As A Soldier. so realistic. keep what is on your hands at the end of battle! such a good idea!
please bro. upload to GitHub maybe? and i will try and fix? I am armature moder no where near as good as you, all i can do is tweak other peoples mods.
also have you considered giving your mod another name? would get much more downloads if you named it something like "true battle loot" or "keep what you kill"
those mods are not as good as this one. but i feel like it would get more attention if the name suggested that you could keep what you pick up inn battle
i thought about updating it a while back but the problem for me came when i tested it as i realized the very little the game had changed which hit me hard when i knew the amount of work everyone in the modding comunity put to improve the game in some awesome ways just to be for naught on some minor stupidity and im not against giving u all the base code as it is very basic actualy and the only problem may be recent updates in some of its dependencys but i dunno at the moment as i haven't played in almost a year and neither i have cheched recent mods.
The BRO Battle Gear module does not work anymore since the last update of MCM. I'm lucky that my save can still be loaded although I have deactivated the module. Just wanted to let you know that something no longer works.
Everything is working fine now, no problems in sight. But I have a question, is there the possibility of making a French translation? or to have the possibility of making a French translation please?
All the files for the translations were prepared in previous versions, but unfortunately I don't know French, so I couldn't do it myself. They are inside mod/moduledata/languages/std_module_strings_xml (It is a list of all the dialog lines used in each module). and to create translations you should create a new folder inside mod/moduledata/languages with the name of the language prefix (for French it is FR, I think it should be mod/moduledata/languages/FR/std_module_strings_xml) and then set the language tag from the file to french. If push comes to shove, I could use google translate to prepare a translation, but it wouldn't be a good one.
