The idea to increase the XP gained by lower troops makes so much sense for me that I don't understand why it's not implemented. It should not take that long to learn to raise a hield with ur left hand (lol). Anyway...
Hi, have 1.5.4 version of the game and im getting an error when i load the game that says that the mod was unable to override Native XP gain and will run parallel to the mod xp gain. Is there a way to fix this?
This still technically works for 1.5.3. The issue is that there is an error message saying that the original method for overriding the native training doesn't work, so now they run parallel resulting in excess XP. If you don't want that, I cut the training perk's XP values in half and lowered the garrison XP from 4 to 3 (and put a tier cap on). That seemed to make the XP gain more reminiscent of old. I love this mod, and would love it see it updated proper. Very few mods for 1.5.3 raise the AI's XP, which is what I really want. I'm so tired of AI recruit spam.
the problem is that TW refactored their code of getting method for the leadership perks ( the first two that Increases the party daily exp) which means that the perk overrides currently does not work, and I still looking where they actually put that perk.
I disabled them for now, here is the mod that I recompiled on 1.5.3. I deleted the overrides native perks harmony postfix until I can properly override the perk system.
If the solution to the native override issue isn't immediately forthcoming, would you consider releasing a micro-update that puts a configuration (MCM) checkbox or entry that serves as a user acknowledgement to the XP discrepancies and suppress the override failure warning message?
Seeing it the first few times is understood and I thought it was incredibly thoughtful for putting that mechanism in there in the first place, but it does get annoying after that (doesn't allow me to step away from my computer when a game is loading, and the perception that you're not doing anything about it)
