About this mod

This mod introduces a custom made female-only troop tree that might be a little unbalanced and features OP units.

My very first submitted mod was a bit of a mess, I abandoned it as It was broken and I didn't know what I was doing, and still honestly don't. I apologize if I didn't hide it sooner. A good concept, though?

This is my second one, and I feel it's a bit of a step up. As anyone knows, I have people to credit and or thank. Without the following people and their work, this mod would either have taken significantly longer, or not have been made. It's not a serious mod by any means, but it's still a mod.

XML Mod Compatibilty Issues Tutorial by SomeDudeOnTheW3B (Without this, I'd be playing the game vanilla, which is a no-no)
Amazonian Army by JeanMark (What influenced me to make female troops, as the game is pretty devoid of it)
Mixed Gender Troops  by tASE (Same as above)
Amazonian Army Wilder version with Female Bandits by Benz10wheel (Originally, I was severely stumped on how to make my unit recruit-able, the standard idea is to put them under basic_troop in spculture, but replacing an entire culture recruit line is stupid.. thanks to this, i learned that I could put my units inside a bandit party)
Calradia Future WarfareBoulder Dodgeball by masterkfg (Oh my god, if you don't try these, you're missing out. Makes the game 100x fun and funnier. Some of my troops use these)

Custom Female Troop Trees

I'm not particularly great at explaining things, but this is a mod featuring 22 units. All female. Sturgia-faced because I had a hard time specifying faces. Some of their names were taken from Perisno (Mount and Blade Warband mod, really great mod), due to me being unoriginal. They do not represent the respective units (if they did, and the game had dark samurai armor, you bet your ass I'd have female assassins). I really, really wanted them to be in the form of mercenaries, recruitable from inside taverns from a mercenary seller or hired via "me and my girls wanna fight for x denars" so I tried to figure out how to populate the tavern with hire-able troops / affect how many there are in a party but no dice. I saw tavern stuff like tavern employees under the TW campaign DLL but I do not do DLLs - the most I can do is decompiling them and read them. If anyone can help me with that, it would be nice, as knowledge is power.

Troop Tree Information
This being my first troop mod, I'll list a few basics about this troop tree. There is two trees. The main tree (15 count) is mostly normal units, the secondary tree (7 count) looks normal at first but the end of the tree has 3 overpowered/cheat units that will destroy everything, even snowballs the size of a mountain. For when you want to kill everything.

Normal Tree
Starts from Peasant Woman. It features 8 melee, 4 ranged, 3 cavalry. . Not particularly well balanced tree. All-around infantry at mid point upgrade into significantly stronger versions of Sturgian Ulfhednar (with a 2 handed sledgehammer version for blunt lols). All-around archers that either upgrade into a fucking Fian Champion (without the giant athletics score, and this time with OneHanded) or at mid-point upgrade into a line of Cavalry using two-handed weapons, that are.. quite strong.. less time went into these, sorry.

Secondary Tree
Starts from Eastern Woman. This is where all the experimental shit happenings. This woman with a scythe, for whatever reason, can upgrade either into a Eastern Infantry that uses the Early Retirement 2-handed weapon (accurate) that is increased in size by 50% OR into a unit that has a two-handed weapon downscaled to dagger size, who then can upgrade into either a Crossbow Repeater unit or a unit with a portable one handed-boulder. You fucking heard right. Also, yeah, not really accurate upgrade paths or names, etc.

This tree is also different in another way, the units' levels are 1 to 4. Reason for this is because.. levels only matter for determining XP needed to upgrade. Unless I am wrong, correct me now and I will fix it. Their survivability is only affected by skills and gear and every has the same amount of health, as they're all human.. monsters. Get it.

Recruit Methods
So originally I was only going to have Peasant Woman available from the standard "recruit from town" spculture method, replacing a faction "basic_troop" and leave Eastern Woman as a console spawn command as I don't like replacing a whole line of troops. But thanks to one of the mods above, I can also just put both into looter parties. Looters will have less male looters, and more peasant women + small amounts of eastern women. Bandit parties are a tad larger now. They do not need a broken perk to recruit. Protip to self: find a way to make "Comformity" increase much faster by the hour.

I have provided 6 Vortex files, one for each faction recruit to replace, as well as one optional file for the concept above.

Installation
  • If using Faction-based Vortex files, pick the faction you want these units to replace, then Vortex it. If you use this, you will need to have Developer Console - and spawn in the Eastern Woman via the id
"mod_female_ewoman". For the ID of the other one, replace e with p.
  • If you're using the optional file.. Vortex. Easy.

Have fun. I'll probably tweaking this so I'll be sure to update this as I go..
