    INSTALLATION / UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:
    IF INSTALLING VIA VORTEX:

    • Download
    • Install
    • Enable
    • ONLY SET LOAD ORDER AND LAUNCH VIA STEAM, DO NOT LAUNCH VIA VORTEX.
    • Put CA_EagleRising at the bottom of your load order and enable it.
    • Make sure you have Harmony installed, it should be at the top of your load order.
    • Have fun
    IF INSTALLING MANUALLY:

    • Download
    • Unzip
    • Drag the CA_EagleRising folder to your Bannerlord\Modules folder.
    • Unblock DLL files (see below)
    • Launch via Steam, and select the mods tab
    • Move CA_EagleRising to the bottom of the load order and enable it
    • Play the game

    You will need to perform this extra step:
    Unblock DLL files

    • DLL files will need to be unblocked if installing manually by going to the CA_EagleRising\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client, right clicking the DLL file, go to properties and press Unblock. If it is not there, it is already unblocked.

    HOW TO UPDATE:

    • Download new version
    • Unzip new version
    • Delete existing old CA_EagleRising folder
    • Move new CA_EagleRising folder to your modules folder
    • OR update via Vortex

    Features:

    Armory System

    • From a town, go to the "Smithing guild", from here there will be two options:
    • Public Armory - This won't include the best items, but still has a good range and is available to all
    • Faction Armory - Includes public armory items but also includes the best gear. Must be a mercenary or lord of the owning faction to use this option.

    Specialist Mechanic, press Ctrl + M to use this

    • You will default to either your starting culture (if not in a kingdom) or your kingdoms culture. You will unlock more specialist units as your clan tier increases.
    • This includes officers, standard bearers, bodyguards, and in the future other special units (such as elephants, engineers, etc).

    New Bodyguard feature (recruited as part of the specialists).

    • As an example, Praetorians for Rome, and other specific bodyguard units from other factions. They will follow you in towns Disabled due to a new bug.

    Settlement Infrastructure

    • These replace the daily projects and can drastically improve towns
    • This is an over simplified explanation of the infrastructure levels (will expand in more detail over time):
    • Urban Infrastructure - Increases overcrowding penalty cap, allowing you to sustain larger populations before negative effects kick in. Food storage limit is increased with each level
    • Rural Infrastructure - More food production > more prosperity > more taxes
    • Civil Infrastructure - Provides influence and loyalty
    • Military Infrastructure - More Militia / Garrisons

    COMPATIBILITY:
    RBM is required, including the combat module.



    Lemmy's Europe Map

    • If you want to use this with the Europe Map, the ER Europe Map sub-mod is required.
    • RBM > Europe Map > ER > ER Europe Map Sub-Mod (As of v3.2.0)
    Banner-Kings:

    • There are some known incompatibilities with BK - use at your own risk. We plan to sort out how we can get this corrected in the future.
    • BK will interfere with recruitment and possibly result in some crashes when interfacing with villages.
    Mods messing with party size will disable benefits from specialists.
    Other troop mods / overhauls -These are not compatible, for obvious reasons
    CUSTOM BATTLES:

    • Custom troops cannot be used in Custom Battle. If you want to do this, you need a separate mod.
    TROOP ID's:

    • If you want the troop ID's, they can be found in CA_EagleRising > Module Data > troops
    KNOWN ISSUES:

    • Germanic armor currently hides the body, and you will getclipping / invisible body parts if used with assets from other cultures.
    • Balance – a never ending pain. We hope to come up withinteresting ways to increase balance without eliminating fun.
    • Roman faction is quite over-powered due to how well thegladii works with RBM - Combat module. We don't want to nerf the gladii, but
      we'll be considering other ways to balance out the empire for future updates. Just consider them as "EZ" mode if you're playing as them, and hard mode if you're playing against them.

    Hello plebeians!

    I know we previously said we would not set-up a Patreon, but unfortunately the hours required to work on this mod have been much longer than expected.

    One of our primary modelers, Garrettich (responsible for a lot of the Roman / upcoming Hellenistic assets that you see), will be forced to return to the military soon. After serving four years in the military, he had received funding for up to a year off. Since this time is up, he will likely need to return to make a living. Progress on the mod will drastically slow down once we lose him.

    Our hope is that through Patreon and selling models, we may be able to delay his return for a while yet!

    Eagle RIsing 3.2.5

    • Fixed scythian / dawa bows not reloading
    • Slightly nerfed slingers
    • Adjustment troop limit for roman crossbows

    Eagle RIsing 3.2.5

    • Fixed Celtic Ruler having Dacian equipment
    • 4 new helm variants for Germanics and readjusted equipment sets to include cloaks for variation > let us know if it's too many cloaks, might have added too many
    • Readjusted spawn ratio for elite roman troops, it should be mixed with base legionaries
    • Fixed germanic spears being throwable > they were throwing the painted spear without a sidearm
    • 3 Suebian Hair styles (they aren't good) > bottom of hair selection for males
    • Redid Germanic Lords / NPCs to make use of the suebian knots - might require a new game to see lords
    • Increased armor of most shields, let us know if it's still breaking too fast.

    Eagle RIsing 3.2.4

    • Added another looter clan, this is identical but should increase spawns x2
    • Added a gladiator bandit clan, ideally, this would be a minor faction but for now they are bandits.
    • Fixed slingers, they will reload and can be used with shields for NPCs
    • REMOVED SHADERS.. this will fix the issue for those that had exploding textures, but will cause longer initial load times akin to 1.1.x. We'll reintroduce this once TW has fixed the problem.

    Eagle Rising 3.2.3

    • New Pompeii Gladius by Garrettich - distributed among low tier troops
    • Tweaks to various things and renamed some settlements
    • Republish of shaders hoping this fixes the issue for those that were getting blown up textures, if it doesn't just delete the shaders folder inside ER.

    Eagle Rising 3.2.2 

    • Apologies for the rapid updates - there are few bugs that needed ironing out. Expect this for a short time after release until the dust settles.
    • Adjusted throwing skill of troops, pila should take 2 shots to break a shield vs 1 for low tiers.
    • Fix upgrade path of a few aux / minor faction troops.

    • REQUIRES RBM with combat module ENABLED (troop overhaul / tournament should be disabled and shoulder shields enabled)

    • Europe Map sub-mod released; load order is RBM> Europe Map > ER > ER Sub-mod. The new cultures will not have
    • specialists / missing some things and currently just leverage existing
    • cultures. Avoid playing as them for now.
    • A lot of older assets were removed and replacedwith improved assets
    • 13 Masked Helm variants including the Arminiushelm
    • New Republican helms and shields from thePolybian Era
    • Redid faces of Imperial Lords
    • Adjust feather sizes of Attic helms (now tribune helms).
    • Dozens if not hundreds of new / replaced assets and items
    Known Issues:

    • We have been taking polls in our discord, and it seems with a 4:1 ratio, most of our users would prefer us to go full Europe Map. This would mean we would have an anachronistic faction line-up initially, but we plan for the main ER mod to be a framework of sorts - with historically accurate sub-mods released down the line.
    • Hellenic faction line-up is next
    • First sub-mod covered will be in the Imperial era - set around the year of the four emperors. ACAN will be a heavy inspiration for us. We may do Marian and Polybian mods down the line.

    Having a big issue with this mod. 
    I had to reset my PC and therefore installed everything fresh.
    Now I installed this mod and I am stuck on the loadingscreen into battle. BUT it worked when I fought alone against bandits.
    Since I have 44 units in my army, I am stuck. When I start the battle, I even hear my character yelling, but the loadingscreen stays stuck.
    I read online that the mod needs time to load so I gave the game time... 1 hour. Yes, I waited one hour and nothing happend.
    I really love this mod, but I just cant play with it right now. Can someone help me please with this?

    Edit: Yes I have other mods installed, but they are not the cause of this. I disabled every mod except this one and the requirements and it didnt work.

      hello friend, are you aware some mods make changes in the game so even when you disable them there will be no difference !try to install the game again and try it again with a new save!

      I had a problem like this in previous versions of game , you can try to change Harmony.mod version , mine was fixed with that , now im using harmoni 2.2.2

    Hi , i really want to return viking's to the game but in last version they changed to germanic , any way to put them back ??
    and woman's of rome armor in previse versions looks really better

    Please help me, I have a version of the game from Epic Games. I download the mod and all the add-ons. The game loads everything and when creating a new game crashes with an error. Maybe I don't download everything. do I need a fix?

    Hello i have a little problem with this mod whenever i apply this mod it doesnt open the game itself it just shutdown and give no crash nothing i followed the order but it still doesnt work tried to turn off other mods but its just this one so maybe anyone knows what might be the problem? thanks a lot

    Hello!!! I need help! My game crashed then i started sandbox. I Followed Installation Instructions. Don,t work anymore sandbox, new company... Then i off CA Eagle rising game start work and i can play, but i don`t wont playing without CA... help me please! TY

      If it crashes when you start the mod you either have one of a few problems:

      1. You didn't follow the correct load order
      2. You didn't get the requirements
      3. You are not on 1.2.9 for bannerlord
      4. You have corrupted files from another mod and need to validate the integrity of your game files
      5. Your other mods are outdated

    Quyaz units seem to hold their kopis' and falcata's as if it were a 1H polearm which is a bit jarring
