    i have an issue with assigning heros to factions (and subsequently kingdoms, both making lords and heros work fine but as soon i put them in a faction, it starts to crash, its the same if i copy the example in your files and try to load that with my mod, minors work fine, followed instructions

      was 1.5.1 but i did end up finding the issue its something you might wanna update in the tutorial: the templates crashed it for me, i have to define equipment manually for my lords

    hi, got a question.: whenever i edit the face template to have something to suit my needs, the person i give it to ends up being a skinhead, any reason why?

    something else i also need to know: how do i find out which place is what in terms of x and y axis? i cant find that on the map and thus dont know how to define spawn place

    Hi, I have some question. Can I have my custom culture as the kingdom culture ? if so, how do I do that?

      hi, You can change the culture on spkingdom.xml, just find the Culture="empire" something like that. beware though that in 1.5.0, towns cannot have custom culture maybe because of devs error or it was intentional.

      so ive been trying to add my custom soldiers to be recruited in towns/villages/castle, do towns not work?

      I'd settle for only recruiting from castles and their villages

      I have custom culture in four settlements on 1.5.2.
      It crashed in the beginning, but then I added notables with the proper culture and it stopped crashing.

      However, I struggle with swapping settlement owners in a new module. Seems I have to edit the sandbox settlements.xml for it to actually change. Same with changing the superfaction of a clan.

      Is that settlement a villages or towns? because in towns it really didn't :(, I added both notables from spspecialcharacters.xml and the 4 notables stated on spcultures.xml I hope it's true for e1.5.2 when main branch is released, and about settlements owner, it might have been the loading order, because I think it got swapped, before when I override troops, the mod must be loaded last, but now it is the opposite, and before, the settlement must be loaded first, I'm not sure now since I'm using the 1.5.1 main branch.

      I have added Culture Test File on main files. maybe you can test it if it works on 1.5.2? Thanks in advance.

  8. Using 1.4.3, Tried to make a custom lord/hero, but I get a crash upon hovering over the character and also upon clicking on it

      If your game loads without crashing during loading screen, It means your xml format are correct, Try to debug it using your original lords.xml and heroes.xml file. try putting your custom hero there and don't close the notepad++ so that you can undo(CTRL+Z) later, then test if it still crash. I only encounter such problem when a settlement has no owner(because the owner never exist or wrong spelling). Maybe in your case is mismatch of clan ID or something, so maybe test to put them in official clan too, you just have to copy Clan ID of (example) pethros to your heroes.xml. What ever method works, there's your hint where to fix it. :)
    2. Yeah I found out that I didn't change one of the sample_clan's to my custom clan string, which fixed that issue, but now I'm having issues with the game crashing after clicking to start a new campaign, after completing the custom items tutorial, I assume it's another incorrect format issue but I'm having such a hard time finding it. I reverted everything back to how it was at the start of the tutorial, and I still get a crash when clicking to start a new campaign.

      did you try disabling your mod before a new start? If you disable your mod and still crash, you may have mess your original xml file, you may need to put back you backup file, but there are another way to debug it, but it only check xml syntax, Tags that is something like this

      and if the checker detected that something is missing, something like this

      It will tell a name contains invalid character
      I will upload a guide for this.

      Edit: The pdf is now available on optional files
    4. I managed to get it working to how it was just before I tried adding custom weapons. I once again tried to re-add the item stuff, and the game crashes on clicking campaign. Not sure what I'm missing, but maybe it's a submodule error?

      And of course, disabling the mod works as well, so I don't think it's any main game file issue, it's something to do with the custom items and submodule, this is what the submodule looks like if it helps identify a problem;

      It seems that your troops trying to use Item that is not in the game, try to double-check your custom troops equipment to your custom items make sure that it's there.

      EDIT: It looks like you use a base game template, make sure that it's the same as native because it's case sensitive!

    Hi!, Anyone having a problem with 1.5.0, I just want to let you know that I found out that BattleTemplate and Civilian template's ID has been changed, all of them, that would be the cause of crash when you created your hero from version 1.4.3 below, The Items are still the same, but it was sorted on each Item Type. You can just make a folder named spitems just like how it was made on original folder.

      That may not have any meaning to us, it is generated when you CTRL+C(Copy) your character during character creation, I think every <face> has that version=4.

    Can't get teh custom troops mod to work. As soon as I load them into my party, the game crashes.
