More Troops Mod author here once more. Yes, I know the mod is broken atm. My update is coming after this.
The theme here is self explanatory- any mounted unit with a bow falls under this category, whether or not it is their main weapon.
Summary:
Aserai Mameluke Qaranis- Strong, all round cavalry that can function in both horse archer and melee.
Northern Imperial Bucellarii Guard- Deluxe horse archer/lancer. Very well armoured.
Southern Imperial Armoured Hippotoxotoi- Heavily armoured horse archers, with little else of note.
Khuzait Hoshiga Archer- Cheap, relatively common horse archers.
Khuzait Nukeri- More expensive horse archer with melee aptitude.Sturgian Vaegir Vityaz Adventurer- Horse archers with great axes.
Next up looks like shock troops. Once again, blame the guys in my discord.

I reckon mods like Jus ad Bellum and De Ri Militari are really cool. The standard BL gameplay core of turning peasants into super soldiers is unrealistic, and doesn't give players much reason to have lower tier troops. Its all about elites. You will always try to produce an army full of legionaries, or whatever top tier troops you want, as opposed to a more realistic mixture of everything.
At the same time, I feel both mods lack variety the sort of variety I'm into. So I decided to make my own treeless troop project. Its going to be a lot more bloated and likely no where near as slick or balanced, but its the way I like it, and I hope others like it too.

Gotta thank Adonnay for their ATC mod- this new project would not be possible without it. If they stop, then this project dies.
