HUDMarkers - to find ore with the detect key spell.
SimplyCrafting - for recipes including pickaxes and lore-friendly, immersive, and balanced weapons and armor

With the release of the new sophisticated crafting system in Morrowind, I wanted to add recipes tailored towards mages as that's the only class I play. ES: Skyrim has a few unique and fun craftable items for mages, such as the Alteration spell: Transmute Ore and I was ecstatic to make recipes for them in Morrowind. Still, check out the SimplyCrafting armor and weapon packs since we mages need a weapon to deal with the Devourers and Dwemer Centurions lurking out there. Non-mage builds will also find these recipes useful for the multitude of jewelry options and the utility from forging soul gems and transmuting ore.

- Transmute iron ore to silver ore to gold ore

- Fuse soul gems: petty, common, lesser, greater to grand
- Craft 50+ recipes for jewelry, common through exquisite from Tamriel_Data that are rare or difficult to find.
- Compatible with SimplyCrafting, can be installed and safely removed at any point in the game
- Easy installation, just drag and drop the file from the CF_crafting folder into ownlyme's Crafting Framework mod.
The new file path should be:
\CraftingFramework\CF_recipes\JewelryTransmutation.txt

... is crafted from various gems and ores ranging from iron to ebony.
[COMMON]
21 Common amulets and common rings;
Armorer skill 5-15
[EXPENSIVE]
24 Expensive amulets and expensive rings;
Armorer skill 25-45
[EXTRAVAGANT]
12 Extravagant amulets and extravagant rings,
Armorer skill 45-55
[EXQUISITE]
8 Exquisite amulets and exquisite rings;
Armorer skill 65-75
[SILVER ORE]
2 x iron ore
Armorer skill 20
[GOLD ORE]
2 x silver ore
Armorer skill 20
[IRON ORE] x 4
1 x gold ore
Armorer skill 20
These recipes are based on the adept-level Alteration spell in Skyrim but more convenient and balanced. The Armorer skill required is low since the transmute spell in Skyrim is based on a completely different metric but is offset by increased material costs rather than Skyrim's [1 -> 1 -> 1]. I might change this in the future but for now I think it's balanced. Also, no more dropping all your iron or silver ore from your inventory to transmute the ore you want and reverse transmute gold ore to iron ore.
Soul gems are a new addition and might be reworked in the future. For now, soul gems can be transformed from:
common -> lesser;
lesser -> greater;
greater -> grand

To master Alteration, first accept that reality is a falsehood. There is no such thing. Our reality is a perception of greater forces impressed upon us for their amusement. Some say that these forces are the gods, other that they are something beyond the gods. For the wizard, it doesn't really matter. What matters is the appeal couched in a manner that cannot be denied. It must be insistent without being insulting.

2. If you haven't already, append Crafting Framework in the launcher or add the file paths to your openmw.cfg. This is what mine looks like:
data="E:/Morrowind Mods/mods/CraftingFramework"
content=CraftingFramework.omwscripts
For instructions on how to add your own recipes, please read the .txt in the \Resources_for_Modders\ folder.

- create recipes for clothing, both vanilla and Tamriel_data
- create recipes for modded armor, weapons, clothing and other items

- ownlyme for the elegant code and framework, without which this would not be possible
- Bethesda, Daddy Kirkbride, and the Greater Morrowind Community
- Dagothwave for keeping me company during the long nights of staring at google sheets
- Stack overdrive for the 8-year-old forum questions tucked away with the answer to all my formula questions
