About this mod

This modder's resource adds palette-like interior cells prefixed with "_CF_" to the Construction Set and/or the game (with no implementation in the exterior world) with proposed models of interior pieces filling the exterior meshes of the various canton variants shipped with the vanilla game, as well as the one included in Tamriel_Data.

Description
============

===========
Cell Types
===========
There are two main types of cells.

Cells prefixed with "_CF_C" are Canton cells, and include the internal structure of each canton as found in the game, showing its various levels as well as how they connect. They are roughly aligned with a respective canton exterior mesh to be able to slide them on the Y basis and see how they interact with the in-game physical space represented by the mesh. These are currently reduced to a single cell for Vivec's Foreign Quarter, but there are plans for slowly adding the remaining Vivec cantons, as well as Molag Mar.

Cells prefixed with "_CF_F" are Footprint cells and include an interior model of space allowed/represented by the exterior model mesh. I've tried to make the most out of the space available, and because of this and limitations in the width of the pieces available, I've focused the general principle of not having the interiors visibly bleeding/intersecting with the exterior mesh, regardless of collision boxes, and made some very specific concessions in few cases, namely the "hips" (the larger parts at the bottom of each "waist") and the foundation of the canton, where tiny bleeding can be found; the interior pieces immediately under the Plaza stairs, as the parts visibly bleeding belong to the canton exterior mesh, which is unconcerned with how the interiors fill up the space, and which would make that floor loose a somewhat significant area for a detail which isn't meant to be visible to the player; and finally in the High Fane canton base mesh, where there are external pillars which go deep beneath the surface and might intersect a little with the top floor.

Note regarding the Vivec Foreign Quarter canton cell: It includes three assembled variants of the canton, two with the main levels but without the interior locations connected to them, and another with the fully assembled interiors, for ease of use. The first two variants differ by having the Upper Waistworks in its original location/connection right below the Plaza (which completely disregards the Plaza's interiors' lower/basement levels), as well as one with it following its interior connection to the Lower Waistworks.

I've tried to make these cells as useful as possible by having not only assembled canton models, but also each part discretely populating the cell in a palette-like manner. This way, each part can be easily selected, inspected and altered, copied, duplicated, etc.; I've also added generally a variant to the footprint models with velothilarge pieces and another with velothismall at the base, so they can be seen interacting with the exterior mesh.

Future Plans
=============
In the future, besides adding the remaining "_CF_C" cells, I'll try to add some notes pointing out some of the issues present with the original model and with my own. Improvements based on suggestions to make this resource more functional/useful, fixes for possible oversights and overall polishing of this mod can be expected.

=============
Installation
=============
Either use a mod manager for an easy install, or manually extract and drag the files inside your Data Files folder.

========
Removal
========
Delete "CF_Cells.esp" from your Data Files folder.
The file "tr_in_v_l_lwhalf_01.nif", located in "Data Files/meshes/tr/i/", is also added by this resource, because at the time of writing, it isn't yet part of the currently available version of Tamriel_Data. Eventually, when it is included in a main release, it will no longer be necessary to include it here.

===========
Load Order
===========
Load this resource anywhere after the main "Tamriel_Data.esm" (only relevant because OpenMW can load ".esp" files before ".esm" files).

Morrowind.esm
Tribunal.esm
Bloodmoon.esm
Tamriel_Data.esm
CF_Cells.esp
