About this mod
Sick of every guard asking "Where's your Uniform"? Now any single piece of Imperial armor (or shield, or clothing!) will satisfy the Imperial Legion's uniform requirement.

In vanilla Morrowind, there were only five options for Imperial Legion uniforms:
- Imperial Chain Cuirass
- Imperial Steel Cuirass
- Imperial Templar Knight Cuirass
- Duke's Guard Silver Cuirass
- Lord's Mail
Notably, this does not include any light armor options, nor does it include several cuirasses worn by other Imperial Legion guards in the game, which makes no sense and seems like a major oversight to me. Furthermore, previously guards would psychically know what was under your robes. Now you can wear a robe with an Imperial Helm, Bracers/Gauntlets, or Boots and they'll be happy!
In my opinion this mod borders on a bug fix, but it also removes a major annoyance and helps preserve immersion.

Also modifies a scripted piece of Imperial armor so it can be used as well.
A 2010 mod did set out to do this to a lesser extent, but per the comments it didn't include the Imperial Newtscale Cuirass, despite the description claiming otherwise.
