POSSIBLE FAQ
- How is this different from Darknut's mod?
Apart from using different animations and first person body meshes, you can see your whole body with this mod. - Are playing supporting other body replacers as well?
I plan to add Better Bodies/Robert's/New Beast Bodies support before the end of this month. - Can I use pluginless versions of other body replacers as well?
You can, but I only recommend VSBR. It's the only replacer that doesn't have chest deformation in first person. This initial release also contains only vanilla clothing and armor, which aren't compatible with other replacers. - Can I use animation mods with this?
You can use any animation mod that has third person animations. If you want full animation parity, copy files with the *.kf extension in place and rename them like this: xbase_anim.kf -> copy and rename the new file to -> xbase_anim.1st.kf. Also do it for female and beast animations. - What else are you planning to support?
Tamriel Data in the future. Other than that, I don't know. - Can you add support for <insert mod name here>?
Depends. The mod shouldn't have chest deformation problem. If I can work around it somehow, (like using undeformed male clothing instead of deforming female) I may. If there's no way to remedy this, if I don't have the time or if the mod in question interferes with my own game too much I won't. - Why U no vanilla Morrowind?!
I wanted to, but I couldn't get it to work there. Maybe that's the reason Darknut never got around to doing it. - Are there any known issues?
There certainly is. Morrowind only considers your arms and hands when in first person. This seems to be hardcoded. When it comes to your chest, legs and feet, the game is only displaying an animation. This causes some render priority issues. You may see your feet through items, especially when sneaking. Your body parts won't look as if they are underwater unless your head is underwater. But those issues are few and far between and you have to get out of your way to break the illusion in most cases. Most of the time everything comes together.
COMPATIBILITY:
- Partially compatible with Darknut's mod. You can't activate the ESPs for obvious reasons but you can use animation files. I doubt it will be beneficial though.
- Lower first person sneak mods are incompatible.
- Animation mods that only change first person animations (like the excellent ReAnimation) are incompatible.
