I actually enjoy this. I hadn't played the original but with the new coat of paint it's a welcome oasis in the otherwise bleak ash environment.
For anyone who might pop in wondering, my mod list is rather bloated and this had no compatibility issues. Also, not sure why the guar>chicken replacer mod was chosen for the screenshot, but that's not part of the mod. I feel like that shot is going to scare a lot of people away immediately.
The only critique I can offer for the mod itself is possibly considering keeping the doors standard or otherwise choosing another texture. While the dark look actually works well for the rest of the mushroom architecture, the doors really harken back to that 2000s goth phase the modding community went through lol.
Thanks for the positive feedback. I am in the process of updating the mod now with new improved dark textures and different doors! I will also be making a version of Building up Uvirith's Legacy with the new textures as well. And new images with no chickens, although I did mention the chickens were not included in the description! I forgot I had the guar replacer until it was too late!
Gotcha. I'll be the first to admit that this style ain't for everybody but I love the funky vibes and I've been using that tileset for many years. Shame I lost the Thorn's Lament version. I liked it too :)

Either way, liked and endorsed! Thank you!
I'm getting mixed signals here.
