Have you ever thought that with the Imperial Legion being an army, they should offer you some basic training when you join up? So did I, so I've created this mod.
This mod adds a small "basic training" questline that you can complete when you join the Imperial Legion - learn discipline, enhance your endurance and learn new techniques when fighting with a blade. Acquire balanced, but useful rewards for successful training in the Legion. I believe that such a thing is an excellent addition for anyone who properly wishes to roleplay a Legionnaire.
Even though the quests are simple and can be done easily at low levels, (which is the point - it's basic training) the mod includes different dialogue for different scenarios: what if only you show up for basic training when you are already a high-ranking Legionnaire? What if you refuse to obey your drillmaster? There are also some small secrets which hint at later Legion quests or bonus items that you can acquire, so the mod incentives multiple playthroughs and rewards roleplaying, and aims to be part of your modlist for any "Legionnaire" character you may have.
The mod also adds a couple of new characters and new items to Gnisis, Barracks (nothing grandiose) in order to enhance its atmosphere a bit.
To begin: Talk with anyone in the Imperial Legion, once you're a Legionnaire.

The deveploment of this mod was helped by two people: Luna, who has some knowledge of military history, and Kobold that bites people, who used to be a soldier - they both gave me ideas about how a realistic basic training would look like - which I've obviously aimed to harmonize with the limitations of the Morrowind engine and the fact that it's a video game played for fun.
