I always need more windmills. More windmills = more immersion Thank you so much for restoring this gem! By the way, should it be compatible with Nordic Dagon Fel?
Think the only Dagon Fel overhauls I saw doing landscaping is Epic/Less Epic Dagon Fel, aside from the lovely Lighthouse ofc, which I already patched.
Did a quick flyby of the area with Nordic Dagon Fel (even more bloated version) just to double check again and I don't see any seams popping up in the cell border so we should be good.
LMK if you find any issues, hopefully I can figure out a fix.
Incase anybody wants to ask, think this is the mods I have adding stuff to Dagon Fel Village directly atm:
Dagon Fel - Windmill House by Pseron Wyrd PATCHED Foggy and Sinister Dagon Fel PATCHED (not uploaded) Less Epic Dagon Fel - ruins only PATCHED - (not uploaded) Dagon Fel Mill Dagon Fel Lighthouse Ships of the Imperial Navy - Ebonheart + Dagon Fel Conflicts PATCHED (planning to upload this patch eventually) Imperial Airship Service
Coincidentally today I dug up a broken Windmill mod adding 2 windmills north of caldera and the animations appear to be broken. I guess that might be the next conservation project xD
Can i merge PW_Dagon Fel Windmill House PATCHED and Dagon Fel Windmill Lighthouse Land Patch? If i have lighthouse already? Actually acn i merge all 3?
My original plan was to just include the seam fix in the main Windmill esp, but Chad GPT agreed we gonna keeps thing more compatible if I keep it separate in case there is some other mods changing stuff idk about.
In theory it should be fine to merge, I think the veterans do that kind of stuff all the time and recommend it, but I just don't have much experience doing this with Morrowind/OpenMW, I'm mostly figuring stuff out on the go xD
got 224 active plugins idk when to worry about load order bloat.
If u end up having Issues with land seams caused by something else I saw people recommend using the Land Merge tool, but I been too lazy and stupid to figure that out today and just patched it manually. Anyways here's a link to that tool: https://github.com/DavidVonDerau/merged_lands
Let me know how it goes! If you're on OpenMW it should be hard to mess anything up from my experience xD
whatever u do or however u do it, make sure to remember to stick to the order Mill > Lighthouse > Landpatch otherwise u end up with a seam on the way to the mill or a buried lighthouse. i couldn't come up with a better compatiblity solution.
