Thanks for the comment. I will try to remake it in the future, when i have the time. That was one of my first initial experiments with carved patterns and the base pattern was very low quality.
wow, this is probably the best set of textures ive ever seen for Morrowind. in my mind this is how vivec was supposed to look. reminds me a lot of Naboo from The Phantom Menace
It was not intentional but they do have some similarities. I guess Star Wars concept artists took some inspiration from the same sources. Thank you for the comment.
I'm probably one of the few that plays Morrowind with an OpenMW VR mod and let me just say your textures have really reinvigorated my visits to Vivec City. I normally try to spend the least amount of time there but now I walk around leisurely, I'm actually looking up to admire the turquoise textures of the arches above the bridge. Thank you for making Vivec so elegant and beautiful, worthy of a poet warrior god.
Thank you for the kind words. That means a lot. Yeah, that is my motivation when making my retexture mods. To make them a "feast to the eyes", while at the same time, keeping a realistic and believable feel to them.
I really love what you're doing with these texture replacers! I've been using Tyddy's Vivec and Velothi - Arkitektora for years, but I'm seriously considering swapping Tyddy's textures for yours. Tyddy includes quite a few more textures from the Velothi set, so I'm probably going to use his as a base with yours overwriting them. Beautiful work!
This is lower resolution than I'd prefer but I really like what you've done with the color scheme. I wasn't sure how I would like the grey portions at the base of the cantons or the mosaic like flooring (as seen at the Vivec strider port, for example) but in game everything has a nice cohesive look.
Thanks. Yeah, the screenshots don't make it justice. You mentioned low resolution. Can you explain what you mean? The low resolution of the screenshots or the textures?
Got it. I was going with a more "realistic" look, instead of over-detailing. Over-detailing, by adding fake shadows and the like is great when you need to compensate the lack of depth given by pbr. I may add some more decals and degradations on future releases.

The texture is "tx_v_strip_02." It is a beautiful design but has a very jagged almost aliased look to the pattern. Is that by design?
Hopefully this screenshot will illustrate what I mean.

Thanks! I was not aware fo that mod. Since it seems to be compatible with BCOM, i will absolutely give it a try.
I'll definitely keep an eye on this mod. All the best.
