Made for the 2025 Winter Modjam (Theme: Pre-existing characters)
Description:
This mod adds a medium quality light armor (equivalent to Dark Brotherhood) made of shalk shells to several Ashlander NPCs, including some who are important to the main quest, such as Sul-Matuul and the war-loving Erabenimsun.
The armor can also be purchased from the traders in Ashlander camps.
Installation:
This mod is dependent on OAAB_Data for the ashlander glass weapons I've given to a few of the included NPCs which match perfectly with the armor.
This mod contains two folders: 00 Core and 01 Iridescent Shalks. The latter adds the same subtle iridescent effect to the armor as my Iridescent Shalks mod does to the creatures, but it does not require the other mod to function. (I recommend this version because it makes the armor more visually interesting while being subtle enough to not ruin the vanilla look of the armor.) Make sure to install 00 Core first, then overwrite its files with the ones from 01 Iridescent Shalks.
