This mod adds four general backgrounds and one background for each race to Merlord's Character Background mod.

This mod is a plugin for Merlord's Character Backgrounds mod, which is required, as is MWSE. More Backgrounds adds four general backgrounds and one background for each race.

The Race-specific backgrounds are:
Credit goes to Merlord for making the Character Backgrounds Mod. I have also repurposed some code from both that mod and AlandroSul's The Wretched and the Weird Mod, so credit for that as well.
The general backgrounds are:
- Bookworm: -10, Strength and Endurance. Double skills from skillbooks.
- Ex-Legionnaire: +10 Endurance, -20 Wilpower, +10 Athletics, Block, Heavy Armor, Long Blade
- Know-it-All: +30 Intelligence, -30 Personality.
- Lucky: 100 Luck. All stats 10, all skills 5.
The Race-specific backgrounds are:
- Akaviri Ancestry (Imperial): 25% Poison Resistance, a Katana which switches to a better one at Reputation 20.
- Apprentice Greybeard (Nord): +20 Endurance, -20 Agility, Speed and Personality, Speechcraft set to 0. 30% Paralysis Resistance. Six Shout-Themed Powers.
- Claw-Dancer (Khajiit): +10 Agility and Speed. +25 Hand-to-Hand, Unarmored, Acrobatics and Athletics. All armor skills set to 0. Claw-Dance Power.
- Cut off from the Hist (Argonian): Argonian Disease and Poison Resistance are removed. +5 Jump Constant Effect. Reach for the Stars Power
- Denying the Green (Wood-Elf): +10 Alchemy, 25% Weakness to Disease instead of Resistance. Stir the Green Power. (Un)Healthy Scepticism Spell. Guar and Scrib are Hostile.
- Echoes of Trinimac (Orc): +10 Willpower, +5 all weapon and armor skills. Sneak, Security and Illusion set to 0. +5 Fortify Attack. Shield of Honor Power. The last two are lost permanently if a bounty is greater than 40.
- Failed Psijic (High Elf): +10 Intelligence, -20 Willpower, +10 Mysticism and Conjuration. Whisper of the Worm King Power. Psjjj Spell.
- Scion of the Sixth House: 75% Weakness to Blight Disease, Personality permanently set to 20. Set of Strong Manipulation Powers (Calm, Charm, Demoralize and Frenzy.)
- Sword-Singer (Redguard): +20 Agility, +20 Long Blade. All weapon skills plus block set to 0. Spirit Sword Spell.
- Warped Mind (Breton): +40 Intelligence, -25 Personality and Willpower. +40 Mysticism, -25 Speechcraft. Sight of Madness Spell.
