It's not a bug fix, I just suck at texturing things and have ZERO idea how to make normals, despite doing this for literal years =D You kinda made the ritual scarring barely noticeable, which is alright, but I wanted it to stand out more, it's a very cool detail of dunmeri culture, but otherwise - good work.

Sorry I didn't know what to call for some reason on TES3MP the normal maps on faces work very strange it's not even you being bad at them I had a Doors of Oblivion normals mod that did the same thing. I don't think I made any new texture maps I used the existing ones and just renamed the suffix to _d and retargeted them in nifskope.

I also don't really know how to make normal maps I've just been using the generate normals option in photoshop.

Dude, I'm worse then this, I JUST MADE THEM AS BW PICS IN PAINT.NET =DDDDD

Also, doesn't "_d" stand for "diffuse"?

These in original mod look like detail maps too me which I see specified as _d usually.

There are a few mackom style head mods from Dandion.. Which ones specifically require this fix. Is it the 2 mods you have linked in the description

yea it seems to only be a issue in the character gen screen as I never noticed it in game
