Hi, sorry for asking about yet another patch/edit, but would it be possible to add a glowmap to it like Luminous Atronachs does? A glowmap makes a lot of sense for a flame atronach.
Does a glow map work differently to setting the emission on a material to fully white? The animated part of the mesh is fully emissive already, you can quickly see it most obviously on the Mount Kand flame atronach, it's quite dark in there but the chest etc. are self-lit
Edit: For anyone following this comment chain, we chatted in discord and arrived at the conclusion that another patch with glowmaps wasn't necessary, as an emissive material does the same job without needing an extra texture.
Hey is the OpenMW version packaged right? Shouldn't the meshes be Meshes/r/ ?
Also, any shot for a compatibility "patch" with the xatronach_fire.nif mesh from Amazing Atronachs? https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/51617?tab=description
Whoops. You're absolutely right; a properly packed file has been uploaded as well as an update in the description in case any OpenMWers come back confused.
I wasn't aware of this replacer, but I'd be happy to make a patch for it. Probably won't get around to it until next week, though!
I actually had some time on hand, so I've uploaded 3 new files, Amazing Atronachs versions for MWSE, OpenMW and OpenMW 0.49 Distortion Effects. Unfortunately in MWSE the shadows are buggy for Amazing Atronachs and I've no idea how to fix them.
Hi there. As per the install instructions, just put the .esp in your Morrowind install's Data Files folder and turn it on in your launcher/manager. It's not packed inside the Data Files folder in the uploaded files because it's mostly an optional thing that people may not want to use or have to delete after installing.
Looks great! I made a patch for Distortion effects that I can send to you in case you need it. It's just a matter of copy pasting the particle effect node though.
Always annoyed TF outta me how the flame atro's idle stance animation looks as if it's legit broken and not fully looping. Can't wait to check this out in-game. Think you'll be pimping out the storm atro as well? He's my favorite
Hey! Admittedly, probably not =P I don't really have a problem with the storm atronach, I'm not really sure off the top of my head what I would do to improve it. I'll leave that for someone else.
I think the OpenMW version needs to be reuploaded. It says it is still uploading to the server despite being only 30mb and being uploaded 6 hours ago..
