This was an absolute nostalgia trip. I just installed Morrowind again a week back after losing my Level 47 game saves in 2003 in a drive crash.

That Balmora residence was my home pad for all those hours I sunk in to this game over two decades ago.

Thanks. I was looking high and low for this. :)

I was the original creator of these mods back in 2002. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Romule for putting in the effort to make this possible, which included tracking me down to get my permission! I also want to say thanks to GTKpower at Morrowind Modding History, Dimitri Mazieres,  and Burpadski of Elder Scrolls forums for keeping these things alive for the past 20+ years.

Special thanks as well to Morrowind Modding Showcase for their video walkthroughs back in 2017. I can't lie, it gave me feelings.

And if any of you are interested in pre-YouTube capture and commentary, I made some narrated design walkthroughs in 2003 for a DVD application to a graduate school for game development. 20+ years later, I'm still making games. =)

I know they're super basic, but that was the point! :D Back then, everybody was stuffing free loot into massive wanna-be castles. I figured I'd roll it back a bit and make it cozy and empty, like a fresh home that (back then) I never thought I'd be able to afford. And given that it's 2024, I'm sure some young future game designers are feeling the same thing. Stick with it. You got this.

And finally... thanks everyone. These have made people happy. There's nothing better than that for me.

Very good even if it already feels dated. This is good for a ''first home'' or some bullshit because of how basic they are and meh, I can't help but love it.
