Summary
Skips the character creation boat and census office sequences. The player starts just after the guard captain's office and will make their character choices as normal there.
Additional Notes
This is a vanilla TES Construction Set mod and does not require any other plugin.
This has only been tested with the Morrowind GOTY edition provided by Steam.
The player will have all menus, topics, journal entries, etc. as if they went through the normal character creation sequence. The game state will reflect this as well.
The barrel with Fargoth's ring has been moved nearby to avoid backtracking through the captain's office.
All tutorial popups have been disabled.
Installation
Extract `VanillaQuickStart.esp` from the mod files and move to your morrowind `Data Files` folder.
For Steam, this may be `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Morrowind\Data Files`.
On the Morrowind "Launcher", select "Data Files" and enable "VanillaQuickStart".
