Hey my friend, love all your work, but was wondering if it's possible to switch the RR statues for Vivec/Almalexia with the vanilla status for those who don't run those type of replacers for the statues? Or does that require cs work, etc. Thank you very much.
I decided to include (and overhauled a bit) Your mod in my own overhaul, credits given. Your idea to make them buried proved superior to my own handling of the Ossuaries.
I love the eerie feeling Your mod brings to Ossuaries. I just started overhauling and integrating Your mod, but I believe it would be best to use rocky red mountain rocks with their unique textures instead of RM cliffs, as they are more complex, varied then normal rm rock textures and meshes, some rocks and other statics are not needed being out of the cavern and not visible, but probably You know that. I myself remove all the plants from the cave as without the sunlight the plants (like grass) can't survive for long. I like realism, fantasy or not, laws of nature still work in Tamriel.
Hold on, does this mean that patches for Red Mountain Reborn, BCoM (the one that comes packaged in the original Memento Mori modpage), and others are not needed now? Or am I wrong?
Hey I really love this mod as I found the Memento Mori locations quite cool, but far too intrusive/unrealistic. I did find one issue with this mod however, that being some of the door names. As you can see in the image at the below link, the large cave doors show as 'DM_cave_door_nightxl1' when you hover over them. I think they should say something like 'Cave Door to Ashlands Region' or 'Velothi Tunnel to Ashlands Region' or something. link
There's a patch for MM, BCOM, RMR and Dagoth Ur Fleshed Out at least, but this would probably improve your performance if MM's exteriors really hit your fps hard.
Very good idea, love it, perhaps will use it in my own mod, need to think about it.
Edit: while Your design is excellent on it's own and I really like the cave eerie atmosphere (also providing explanation why those bones are not covered in dust and rocks), I like my own design better (shield doing it, and some cave elements here and there), also I find Memento Mori exterior changes provides an addition to otherwise boring cells, and I would have to move crematory chimneys from the cave as burning in not well ventilated caves is not a good idea for health (or life) of it's denizens, and I like to use landscape instead of landscape statics.
The intent was to preserve as much of the original as I could, while cutting what was broadly the biggest issue with compatability. Theres a lot of Red Mountain mods, quite a few Ald-Ruhn, and every combination of those is another patch to be made and maintained.
Great idea for a mod - I was disabling conflicts in the console by hand... - MM is perhaps my favorite Morrowind mod and now it's much more compatible for everyone...
