It should be compatible with most mods, just not mods that edit the scripts for things like the Moon and Star ring retrieval. In general, mods that tamper with the main quest are probably not too compatible.
The mod only checks to see if you are Patriarch of the Vvardenfell Temple with 100 disposition with Saryoni, so it should be compatible with tr temple quests, without requiring them. If you want to use the console, you can set yourself as Patriarch and set Saryoni's disposition to skip the questline.
I'm all for alternate MQ paths, but I'm not sure what this one entails besides being for Temple characters. Can I get a rough summary for how this would play out after I talk to Saryoni?
After talking with Saryoni, you'll be sent to Illunibi, get corprus, be cured, and all that, until eventually you do some of the normal things with the ashlanders. The idea is to keep the prophecy as accurate as possible. No informant quests, just Illunibi, the cure, sent to the ashlanders, trials, cavern of the incarnate, ending with Hortator and Nerevarine.
Could you add a few words to distinguish your mod from "Nationalist Nerevarine" by AliceL93? It also lets the Player Character pursue the Main Quest without contact with Caius Cosades and the Blades (involving Master Aryon of House Telvanni, instead).
Probably the biggest difference is that it is all with vanilla characters and character locations. Instead of being introduced to this mod right from the start, it's something that you may stumble across while playing a certain dunmer faction.
can you be less vague about it? if people can't figure out how this mod works, they're just going to download and use Nationalist Nerevarine instead. I don't see the point of you withholding this information. If I'm downloading a main quest alternative mod, it's because I explicitly want an alternative way to do the main quest. I don't want to have to just ignore Caius and his package until I "stumble" upon this alternate method.
Looking in the toolset. What this mod does is if you chose to align with the Temple. On a Temple themed playthrough you will gain the ability to eventually start the Main Quest by alternate means.
