Very cool additions! I love the idea of the air bladder to escape danger or reach oxygen quickly—reminds me of Subnautica. You might consider the use of climbing gear in conjunction with a new skill using Skills Module. Also love the rebreather idea (perhaps a Dwemer artifact? A few underwater ruin mods this would complement), but does invalidate the spell and Argonian advantage a bit; maybe something like this mod which manipulates the breath meter could be adapted, like a higher endurance or athletics makes the rebreather work more efficiently? Just a couple of thoughts this terrific mod inspired.
Thank you! Yeah, I won't lie and say I wasn't a bit inspired by Subnautica. I had a few ideas on my mind on how to incorporate the Rebreather. I went with the simplest approach to be the easiest on Players. I don't think it invalidates those other play styles. It just adds another. Sometimes you want to play as a Mage, sometimes an Argonian. Sometimes just a Warrior who could benefit from a more tactical tool like a Rebreather.
A Skills Module skill that influences climbing speed, climbing fatigue and risk of falling down would be amazing. Does this mod add the climbing gear to wares lists so I have the chance to buy it in Seyda Neen or other merchants beside the three mentioned ones? I just cheated it into a new game to test the mod and it looks very promising. I cranked up the climbing speed debuff and the fatigue drain to the maximum and the climbing felt great.
Version 1.0 simply brings the base idea into the game for all to enjoy. I did put in the option in the config to allow people to climb without the need for the tool if they so choose. Allowing for a playthrough with a character who is a climbing expert right off the boat in Seyda Neen. Future enhancements can possibly see utilization of the Skills Module for more integrated potential.
I decided against the wares list and instead directly placed them into NPC's inventories. This was to guarantee they won't get overridden by other mods.
